We spent a week at this well located hotel. Yes a friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet (espresso is better than what they serve for coffee). Walking distance to many places but a lot of uphill/downhill--would definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent, just 5 minutes from an amazing Borghese-park. In the hotel there is a very nice pool area, enough sun beds. The senior suite was big enough to fit 3 people easily. However, there was no room balcany at least in the suite nr 301, and the shower was not working very well. If there is something...

We are very pleased with our stay at the Aldrovandi. Very friendly and helpful staff as we needed a lot of assistance travelling with my mother with crutches. The family room was very spacious, could need a little update interiorwise, but good value for money. The pool aria was a blessing considering it was 36C in Rome the days we...

We (a family of 4 adults and two teenagers) spent 5 days in this amazing hotel in Rome. The hotel is situated outside the centre of Rome but with easy access by bus, tram or underground to the centre of town. We are a family of orthodox Jews so it was very important to us to be able to have...

We stayed 5nights. The hotel is on the top of the Borghese park in a stylish residential area. Quit and with surrounding trees a nice atmosphere in comparison to the hot city. The rooms are big and well equipped. The pool is lovely but opens only at 10. Before you are not even allowed to go in the garden and...

We stayed at the residence for 7 nights. There is truly nothing bad to say about it. Everything was so perfect! The residence is located next to one of the most beautiful parcs of Rome. A 10/15min walk through it, takes you to the the Piazza del Popolo and the city centre. The room was huge! The bed is very...

We stayed her for 5 nights in May half term 2016. What a beautiful place to stay. Staff very nice and helpful. The pool is very nice after a busy day of sight seeing. Perfect location, a little out of the centre, however a tram stop right outside. Public transport very good, we paid for one taxi in the whole...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at end of May and it was fantastic. We had a suite for the same price elsewhere in Rome you would have received a poky room. We overlooked the Biopark Zoo and could see the zebra and antelope walking about and the vultures and Eagles?? in their aviaries across the street. The...

This Hotel was just ideal for us as a small family visiting Rome. Our 24 year old son joined us for this trip - so the suite we had was great to suit our needs. Staff very friendly & helpful - especially to do with trams that stop out side the front of the Hotel. Suite was spacious, with two...

The entire staff of Aldrovandi is very helpful and kind ! - Breakfast is extensive and very fresh, ranging from bacon to fruit and bread/croissants! - Swimming pool was the reason why we choose this hotel and it was more than satisfying! The cocktail-bar is a nice addition and the pool-guy does an excellent job! The water is very fresh...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
