Stayed with the family on our mid term break in Rome. Their place is awesome. A little calm oasis in the middle of all the activity of Rome and Trastavere. Very well located for sightseeing and many incredible restaurants.
We stayed five nights in this hotel and would return in an instant. The hotel arranged for Stefano, a local driver, to meet us at the airport which was great - we would certainly call on his services again. When we arrived at the hotel, we couldn't believe how lovely it was. In a busy, lively area of Rome, it is an oasis of calm and tranquility, with an inner patio where you can have breakfast or a drink under the orange trees. The breakfast was great - with tasty fresh bread, lovely cakes, fresh fruit and excellent cappuccinos. Our room was reasonably large for a city hotel, on the ground floor overlooking the patio which a lot of the rooms are. We had a comfortably furnished room and bathroom and a firm and comfortable mattress to sleep on. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and always helpful. All in all, a great experience and one we hope to repeat.…
Had a fantastic stay with my Partner in this delightful quiet hotel , staff friendly & helpful . Breakfast delicious , bed comfortable & room cleaned to a very high standard . Use of bikes a great way to see Rome from the banks of the Tiber . Good Bars & restaurants just outside . Loved having breakfast on the terrace . Enjoyed our stay immensely
Stunning hotel, an oasis in the middle of the bustling atmospheric Trastavere. Immaculately clean room, delicious breakfast, helpful staff and a beautiful setting. Once inside the hotel you would not know you were in such a busy area. Only a short walk to a bus stop for transfer to the train station. Highly recommended x
We visited Rome for a long weekend and stayed at Santa Maria. The hotel is situated in the heart of Trastevere. A bustling neighbourhood. For three nights we ate in different locations all divine and within five minute walk. During our stay, our host Valentina (hotel owner) was extremely welcoming and helped us secure tours, restaurants and see the best of Rome. The staff were lovely, the rooms clean and breakfast in the courtyard - unmissable! Thank you all, we will be back!
