Loved this hidden jewel and it was hidden. We were in the best location, close to everything and right in front of the Spanish Steps. Flavio was amazing. He went above and beyond by booking reservations to Florence and Cinque Terre and was always available to provide an extra hand. The breakfast was simple but classic Italian with variety. We...

This was my 15th stay in this area and it proved to be one of the best. Small, yet efficient, and accommodating. Their choices for meals and chocolate were close in safe area for older single lady. Definitely hope to return.

We reserved two rooms, that were on the first floor. first room had a window to a beautiful alley. Second room had a view of the back of the hotel which wasn't beatiful at all. but we didn't spend our time at the hotel, so this con didn't really affect us. If you are looking for peace and quiet. Hotel Piazza di Spagna was recommended to us by family who had also previously stayed at the hotel, and I would also now definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Rome. Spectacular location so close to the Spanish Steps, and surrounded by amazing restaurants, only a very short walk to the Corso shopping area and within an easy walk to...

We stayed here one night while stopping through Rome en route to a cruise. The reception and kitchen staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and average size. It was slightly on the warm side even though the air unit was on high (it was late July at the end of a heat wave). The bathroom was...

We wandered into this hotel because the room we booked a few blocks away had no one answering there doorbell. The staff was very helpful in trying to contact our original booking and they were very kind even though it seemed we would be staying elsewhere. We were impressed by their service and decided to stay there. It's a very...

Pros Fantastic location Staff was super friendly Cons Air conditioning was terrible – It was 100 degrees outside during our stay. With the AC at full blast it felt like 80 plus degrees in the room (no thermostat to confirm the temp). We were told that we had one of the warmer rooms in the hotel since it was exposed...

Not long home from our weeks stay in Rome and what a week. After the experience of using the Metro, (very busy), from the main train station to The Spanish Steps we were very pleased with the location of our hotel. The welcome we received, on our arrival, was warm and friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor and...

I've stayed here three times over the course of 7 years (my first stay was in 2008, and then again later that summer) and July 2015. The hotel is in the absolute perfect location, just steps from the famous Spanish Steps, Via del Corso shopping, Piazza del Popollo and only 10 or so minutes to the Pantheon and Trevi. Not...

This is a charming boutique Hotel conveniently located near the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti, and I felt like we had been swept back in time when we checked in and were handed an actual key. The rooms are all different which also adds to the ambiance. It was clean albeit small. Our window opened out to the street, but...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
