Stayed again at this splendid establishment. First in 1990, then in 1992 and again in 2013. Great improvements in bathrooms, beds and services. Location is superb: close to all retail and historical sites yet quiet and peaceful. Have now stayed as a daughter with my mother, as a friend with three young women, and with my male partner of 20...

Steps away from the top of the Spanish Steps this place is central to most sites. However, the street is very quiet so we slept well. No drunken, loud folks wondering about. Had an interior balcony room, was pretty spacious and quiet even though right beside the elevator. The continental breakfast was what you would expect. Attentive staff always around,...

We stayed here on a four day trip to Rome, and It was exactly what we wanted. The rooms were immaculately clean, the staff was wonderful, and the location could not be beat. The rates were very reasonable, and the breakfast each morning got us started off. There is no room service, but there are dozens of great places to...

Located near the top of the Spanish Steps, the Hotel Gregoriana is a great place to stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated in an "Erte" style, they are comfortable and impeccably clean. Although within easy walking distance of many of the attractions of Old Rome, the hotel is both calm and quiet. All of the staff are friendly and helpful....

The room was comfortable and chic, though small. The location is terrific, near many attractions, but also on a very quiet street. We were able to check in early, as we arrived on an early morning flight, and we appreciated this. The breakfast is small - rolls, toast, jam, and tea or coffee. Fresh fruit is not available without an...

Very nice 3 stars hotel. Clean, efficient, with very nice and helpful staff; especially at the reception. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom just lovely. The location is ideal: next to Piazza di Spagna. The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi can easily be reached by foot. Via Condotti and via Frattina, the shopping streets are also nearby.

My son and I stayed at the Hotel Gregoriana in March, and had a wonderful visit. We contacted Aldo, the innkeeper, prior to our visit, and he had a car waiting for us at the airport to bring us to the hotel (60 euros, which was very reasonable considering it was 7 a.m. and we were exhausted - the idea...

We traveled with our daughter and booked two rooms at the Gregoriana this fall. We love it. as already stated, this is a boutique hotel with no gathering place, but we didn't need one. Dear guest, thank you very much for your review. We are really pleased to read that you have appreciated our hotel and the location. Of all the places we stayed in Italy (and we stayed in some high-priced, glamorous places), we liked Gregoriana the best. It's small, warm, welcoming, and the staff was as helpful as can be. There's no lobby to speak of, but there's a lounge on the top level for internet access. We especially liked the neighborhood: though centrally located it...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
