After a long morning of travelling, we arrived on the right street and the right location for this hotel. Only one slight issue, the hotel has closed down and we were never notified. Now stuck in Rome for New Years Eve and had to spend €500 for another hotel. Avoid at all costs!! Booked through amoma who have also gone into administration with failure to notify us. All the numbers for the hotel and booking company are surprisingly disconnected so I can only assume it's not their problem anymore.
The place was a pure stank and there’s so much wrong with this hotel you could write a book , staff were as useful as a chocolate tea pot , room was dirty and only chair in room , air condition didn’t work properly after an hour trying to get it to work , double bed was 2 single mattresses put together that were stained and marked and pillows were like 2 cheese boards as well as the blanket was like a scarf , the lift to your room you had to get off and drag your case down to the next floor as there was no lift to your floor , couldn’t use dirty shower as shower door was broke and shower head was full of mould , the sink had no plug , went down to receptionist and asked for hot water and was told there was none , no fridge to keep anything cool no kettle or cups for drinking with , breakfast was hilarious it consisted of cold cup of coffee and a croissant or roll , one morning at breakfast I asked for some milk with my tea and the waitress gestured to me come fetch the milk yourself , the security in the hotel was non existent anybody could just come in off the street , I’m putting my experience here not for badness but to stop anyone from having to stay here that will put a dampener on a beautiful city…
Cons: dirty walls, uncleaned ceiling dirty beds TV doesn't work even though it's very old type. No Wifi range into rooms, if you want wifi you need to go to staircases. ward robes are not clean. No proper ventilation into rooms. Not much CC cameras on corridors to cover room front doors Basic breakfast Holes in blanket Pros: Near to Termini & metro Near to Pam local & local Pizza stores Towel replacements
Rooms are dirty, beds are old metal frames, breakfast is one roll and one coissant with jam. You have to get tap water yourself. Our room had broken sink and non working shower, tiles on floor were broken and sharp. There was no phone or hair drier as advertised. The photos on their website are not their hotel rooms. We complained and recieved a room with a working shower but the doors were broken the sink was loose from the wall and I had to fix a leak in the rear of the toilet as every time it was used the bathroom flooded.. I could go on but if these issues are jot enough I don't know what is. Sadly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in , world wide and definitely in my many trips to Rome .
After reading all those reviews i was actually scared to go and I considered cancelling.. still i went to the hotel with my family.. The hotel was actually ok! Everything worked perfectly, breakfast was fine even though there weren’t many things to choose from and the personnel was very nice.. the hotel was also very close to the Castro Pretorio metro station and a five minute walk from the Termini station Now considering the drawbacks..: we stayed for 6 days and our sheets weren't changed not even once (our towels were changed once though) and the blanket had holes on it.. All in all it was a nice hotel and would consider it again if if i went to rome since it was also very cheap.
