Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for a short city trip. I went with my mother and her boyfriend. Because I travel normally with my husband I have no complications with our health. But my mother have health problems so to move around in Rome was a challenging. That's why I chose this hotel because the last time I...

Me and my GF stayed for a weekend. The hotel is in a quiet location which still is pretty close to the city centre (20-30 min walk) as well as the vatican ( 10-15 min walk) Very friendly staff, clean rooms. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a shopping Street (similar to the one in the city...

Nice little hotel in a very good location. When in Rome, I prefer to stay off the overly crowded touristic city center somewhere across the river around Lepanto//Vatican area. It is in a way more residential, and more "Roman" if that is possible in Rome. Hotel is clean, room was nice, and despite the usually tiny hotel rooms in Rome,...

Stayed here for three nights and thought the hotel was incredible value for money. It's walking distance from the Vatican and has a metro station literally around the corner. There are also shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly, room was comfortable, bathroom/shower was always clean and breakfast was good! WiFi was fine for me throughout my...

Just returned from our 2nd stay at Hotel Gerber in just a little over 3 years. The Hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are small but comfortable & quiet. The breakfast is fair to good, the Cappucino delicious. The location is convenient to the Vatican area and Castel Sant'Angelo with many restaurants...

Stayed here for three nights Couldn't ask for more for my money...I chose single room with shared bathroom, not been a problem, not had to wait to use it yet. The staff are incredibly polite, very friendly and nothing is a problem, excellent little 'chic' breakfast room with plenty to choose from to eat. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“Ask for 428 "the wedding suite" which is a large double room on the top floor with own balcony. There is also a common balcony on the top floor which is very nice. It has no spectacular view but we loved sitting there with a glass of champagne watching the stars and just enjoying being in Rome.”
