From the moment we walked past the huge planted urns at the steps through to reception, we knew this was going to be a great experience. Reception staff were the very best of professionalism- helping with every query without hesitation. Our upgrade to the only top floor room with a huge rooftop terrace was such a surprise. Lovely views of...

This hotel is good if you have been to Rome before and want to try a different area. About 15-20 mins walk to the Vatican but for Storica Antica a bit further. Staff were lovely very helpful and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Beautiful room however shower is tiny.

Loved our stay here. This lobby is beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfy with big windows that open onto a gorgeous street. And the breakfast on the rooftop is delicious and so charming! Loved it. Only suggestion would be update the decor in the bedrooms to be just as charming as your lobby!!

This lovely hotel in the Prati district is perfectly situated on a quiet street yet only a short walk from excellent restaurants and shops. There are bus and metro stops on the adjacent streets, or a 15-minute stroll will take you to Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican or, in the opposite direction, across the Tiber to Piazza del Popolo. Breakfast...

The Hotel Farnese was the best hotel we have stayed at. The staff were helpful and friendly. This included arranging our airport pick up and two tours (Vatican and Coliseum.) The room was spotless and very comfortable. Good air conditioning, a quiet area and blackout drapes let us sleep really well. It was also well located in a lovely safe...

Clean hotel. Comfortable but small room. Balcony. View on the street. Fantastic breakfast on the roof top. Parking included. Very good location: walkable distance from shops, restaurants and the Vatican. Cheap price for what you get!

Great hotel located near the metro station making it easy to get around the city. Wonderful breakfasts with a lovely view. Rooms are clean and well maintained to a high standard. The friendly and willing to help service is one of the biggest advantages of this place. I highly recommend it.

The metro is half a block from the hotel and in one stop is The Vatican and going the other way, the Spanish Steps. We have been to this hotel several times and always come back for the wonderful, helpful staff at the front desk. Louis, Andrea, Alessandra are the best! The breakfast always stuns newcomers! Not just the array...

We stayed here for 4 nights and extended a night because it was a great place and we wanted to see more of Rome. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything including a subway stop (Lepanto). It has Old World style and charm. The breakfast was nice, but could have had a few more choices. Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
