This hotel is just sufficient. it has everything not of great quality but everything is available. cost wise its fine i guess! The greatest thing about it is the bus-stop close to the hotel and the roof top view! and free wifi!

Stayed here for 4 nights very basic and don't go by 4 stars ,it's hit and miss on the stars in Rome google it . Metro near by and yes can use the 360 bus . Last train to the hotel is 10.30 ish and bus is a bit later . I would not recommend staying here and spend a... More

The room was good and kept in a good way. They're opened 24/7. I found so many bad reviews on this hotel but I can't complain about that; the only "problem" I had was that they didn't allow my girlfriend to follow me in my room just for a few hours, but they explained they couldn't let her go for... The sign in the room "no responsibility taken for items left in the room" should have been a sign.Under no circumstances leave anything of value in the room. The restaurant is understaffed - I felt sorry for their workload. The place is in dire need of a makeover.

Grand Hotel Hermitage has very limited amenities to offer, but with the price that it is asking for a stay, this hotel is one of the Best in Value hotels. Breakfast is the same everyday for 8 days. Situated in Rome's attractive Parioli district (easy to reach using the 360 bus from Termini), this was a very pleasant hotel to stay in. Friendly and helpful staff (Amjed and the other hard-working reception staff deserve a mention), nice clean rooms with daily maid service (unusual for me to find a hotel where they replace the towels and bedding so... The hotel is located in Rome s most expensive residential area, Parioli. It is served by a very infrequebt bus 360, runs one every hour or so. Hotel has seen better days in its glorious past times, staff are kind and helpful, breakfast buffet is delicious. If you walk downhill for 15 min you find a variety of authentic restaurants... More

Dear ucfaamo, thanks for your positive review about our value for money, the bus 360 is supposed to run every 15 minutes or so, during your stay there was a construction problem on one of the streets it passes on, that's why it took to the bus more time to arrive. Close to viale Parioli you can also find the... More

I've never given a negative review but this is the first time I've felt the need to do so. I've travelled a fair bit across the globe and have experienced all sorts of hotel standards but this one was terrible, just terrible. How is this a 4*? It might have been back in the day but it certainly is not... More

This trip was taken within a month of my last trip and it was far from fun. If this experience was anything like the first in terms of accommodation, we wouldn't have rushed back to Rome so soon. Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
