The employees were fantastic! I was greeted each morning with "Good morning!" and greeted each evening, after sight-seeing, with "Good evening!" They went the extra mile when we asked for ice or drinks. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I can't say it's the most quiet place I've stayed, because of the night traffic, etc., but I will stay there...

My family (4 adults) stayed at Ariston hotel for 7 nights continuously. We arrived at the hotel earlier morning around 8am. As our room was still not yet ready. The receptionist help us to keep the luggage. She knew we were tired after the 13 hours long haul flight. She treat us a free continental buffet breakfast at that morning....

We stayed at the Ariston for 5 nights and I loved it!! The rooms were very neat with their decor. We had a queen bed and it was very comfy. The bathroom in our room was small, especially the shower but it was fine for our use. The staff was amazing!! They catered to every need that we had. The...

I highly recommend this hotel, its location was very good. Close to termini central station, metro, Hop on Hop off and bus station. Although it was close to the busy streets, the hotel itself was on a quiet street. The hotel was modern (which I really loved), clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The...

Hotel was lovely, very comfortable, clean & modern. We were upgraded on arrival which is always nice, staff were welcoming, polite & helpful. Great location, just around the corner from the train station & we managed to see most the major sights without transport. Being given a takeaway breakfast because of an early start on the last morning was a...

As the title of my review states, the Ariston Hotel has an ideal location for easy access to Termini Station which is the main hub for all modes of transportation throughout Rome. My family and I enjoyed four days in Rome and a day trip up to Florence all of which began with an easy walk to Termini Station. That...

Our family stayed 5 nights in this hotel. It is a lovely, quaint and a great location to the Metro. The staff was amazing, extremely kind and considerate. Our room was a large 2 bed, with large over sized bathroom. I was impressed with the colors of the room, very modern all around the hotel. I would definitely stay here...

While the surrounding neighborhood is really busy, this place is ideally located if you are planning on sightseeing. We stayed there for 3 days and used the Metro exclusively to get around town. The Termini station is literally 3 mins from the hotel. The area is also very safe despite and very busy throughout day and night. The breakfast was...

We booked an executive room for 4 nights through BA, £195 each including flights- because of this I was a bit weary! After booking I emailed the hotel directly explaining it was my partners birthday, to which they organised some prosecco and a whole chocolate cake in our room, on the night. The room we stayed in was average size...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
