Wonderful location to plan daily excursions from; but not if you're one that spends a lot of time in the room. It was cozy (tiny!) The room was a bit warm, but not overly. Staff was very helpful. Facility was clean.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 nights and the hotel rooms are perfectly adequate, beds are comfortable, Rooms are clean. Staff are fantastic very welcoming (You are made to feel that you are important and wanted at the hotel). Great Location, everything is within walking distance (except for the Vatican but only 5 stops on metro) I recommend this hotel...

Like others this is a nice option. Short walk to the metro and great food near buy. Location is good. Room was nice and staff helpful. I would return. Clean and tidy place with a small breakfast option.

The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the train and bus station on Via Nazionale and just 100m from the underground. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. Being in a city there is a little street noise but that's to be expected. We are returning again next month and have chosen this hotel...

Great value for money, really clean, and close to all main attractions. We didn't have breakfast here, quite a few cafes near by though. All you would need for a tourist holiday, maybe not ideal if looking for a 5* experience but was perfect for our sight seeing 2 day trip. I would definitely go back...plus we were allowed to...

Clean room, comfy, central and the staff were lovely, the only downside was the breakfast room was next door to us which began at around 7 so it was quiet noisy in the mornings. Overall it was still a nice stay and I would recommend it.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The location was great close to alot of the local attractions, located on a Main Street close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but very clean and cozy. Great for the price I enjoyed my stay in Rome.

My husband and I stayed just one night. The room was comfortable. Shower stall small but this is to be expected in Italy. Breakfast was great. A great variety. There were fruit, croissants, boiled eggs, cooked meat, yogurt, cereal, juices, tea and coffee. Fast check in and check out.

Well located and very reasonable. Walking distance to colosseum, Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Rooms are simple and wifi patchy. Breakfast was good and the poor team work hard to restock as things run out. Reception were helpful and gave us a few tips.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
