The hotel is very clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful (apart from the breakfast staff who were quite rude), but I put that down to the restaurant being extremely busy and staff rushed off their feet.
Rooms are quite small, but for 3 nights we didn't need anything more. Housekeeping do a wonderful job of cleaning the rooms. We had room 183 which is on the 2nd floor of block 1. It had a small balcony but with no view. Just the outside walls of Eur2 shopping center.
There is a fridge in the room and a big bonus was the bathtub in the bathroom. The shower is amazing. Great water pressure for and enjoyable shower. Shampoo, shower gel, soap and towels are available in the room. There is and English news channel on the TV, but not kettle in the room.
Just have patience with the a/c in the room. It does cool the room down, but it just needs a little time.
The pool is immaculately clean but you must wear a swimming cap, available to buy in the reception for €5 each. The bar area by the pool is lovely too and open until 11pm. There is always life there so if you didn't fancy venturing out you can have a relaxed drink at the pool bar.
Bus stop to head into Rome is just outside the hotel, and Uber's are super efficient here too.
We would stay here again.
The room was very comfortable and aesthetically very nice (the only flaw was the heat in the room). The staff was always very friendly and the breakfast also offered a variety of options.
For three nights for two people we spent 255 euros... I would say an excellent value for money. If in the future we need to return to Rome we will certainly consider staying here again!

The breakfast was quite poor. The hot food selection was limited and the scrambled eggs weren't nice at all. They had a selection of pastries but they didn't seem fresh.
The only highlight was the bar which had great service from one of the bar tenders. I think her name was Claudia (I can't recall fully) and she was incredibly friendly, welcoming and really good at customer service. The staff at reception were helpful too.
The swimming pool is clean, well catered, and supervised. NOTE HOWEVER that you need a swimming cap so as to use the pool facilities (can be purchased at the reception for 5 EUR).
The location is equally amazing, it takes about 40ish min. to get to the city center, but buses and the metro are accessible, round-way trip into town and back is 3EUR. It is also located quite close to Fiumincino Airport with a 20 min Uber ride (40 EUR give or take).
Also, there is a big shopping center right next to the hotel (ca. 3 min walk), with stores, a large retailer and a food court.
We can sincerely recommend this hotel for anyone between the ages of 3 to 99. :-)

At check in (very slow) I was asked for advance payment. Not wanting to use the credit card and not having enough cash with me, I asked if payment upon arrival was mandatory and the girl at the reception replied yes, inviting me to go and withdraw the money from the ATM in the nearby shopping center and adding " We're waiting for you." Being very tired from the trip and just wanting to go up to my room, I asked to be able to pay for the first night immediately and the remaining two the next morning. The receptionist agreed, pointing out that "they were coming to meet me". Now, it has never happened to me to be asked for advance payment in a 4-star hotel, at most in some B&B!!
The structure is made up of a main building and three - let's call them - annexes.
The room I was assigned was in one of the annexes, on the ground floor. Upon entering you have the impression of being in a sad apartment building. The room was quite spacious, but the curtains were definitely dirty, with big stains and broken ones at the top, the walls were dirty, with stains of various colors and lots of marker marks everywhere. Since the curtains were white and transparent, it was necessary to constantly keep the roller shutter lowered because the windows are so low that anyone passing by can see the entire interior of the room. There were some brown stains on the bathroom fixtures and the ceramic of the sink had some cracks.
I had decided to ask to change rooms on the second day, but at the thought of having to repack all my luggage I gave up.
Last but not least, on the morning of the second day I accidentally spilled a bit of orange liquid on the bedside table, then I left the room and when I returned I found it redone but the stain of liquid on the bedside table was still there... this was to understand the level of cleaning!!
The breakfast room was very crowded, the waitress invited me to sit at a table for two, but many of the free tables had yet to be cleared. In the end I sat at a table with some crumbs that I proceeded to remove with a paper napkin.
Even more unpleasant, the waiters, as soon as they see you for two seconds without putting food in your mouth, rush to the table and take your plate away from under your nose!! Both days I had to ask the waiter to leave my plate because I hadn't finished eating yet.
In conclusion the room was not even close to a 4 star hotel and it is not acceptable to pay what I paid for such an accommodation. But above all, during the booking phase it should be clearly specified whether you are booking a room in the main building or in one of the annexes and - more importantly - the two solutions should have different rates.

The hotel's website also did not mention that the so-called standard rooms are not located in the nicer main building but in a separate dilapidated apartment building. The rooms are not in good condition and certainly not up to four-star hotel standard rooms. The bathroom had a very strong sewer smell, and the entire room had a strange musty odor. We pointed this out to the staff, and we were kindly given another room where the sewer smell was milder. Although the room was cleaned, many things were still in disrepair, such as the shower basin leaking onto the bathroom floor and the room's paintwork bubbling. The old-fashioned air conditioning unit was difficult to adjust. It seemed like the whole building needed renovation (water damage, etc.). The "minibar" was actually an empty fridge. Breakfast was at best okay, with poor automatic coffee served in paper cups. We had to ask for water in plastic cups separately from the staff. The breakfast area was a dreary conference room, not a nice restaurant.
The hotel's pictures and star rating are seriously misleading, and it is very disappointing that we wasted our last holiday evening at Columbus and paid for a night in a miserable bunker. We felt cheated by the experience, even though the staff was friendly.
Breakfast was outstanding and staff accommodating. Very thankful that I read a previous review regarding vegan croissants! Thank you. Made my day!
The location is excellent, 5 minutes on foot to reach the stadium (the Google Maps indication for the walking route is completely wrong)
Recent structure, friendly, welcoming and professional staff (reception, dining room and cleaning staff).
Clean room, large bathroom with courtesy kit.
Large free parking.
Final gem: rich and varied sweet and savory breakfast.
Excellent price including tourist tax
