The location was fantastic, walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see, a short walk to the metro and a airport transfer arranged at the front door. We loved the free breakfasts and the room was very nice, the ceiling was a little low but that added to the charm of the building. The lift is tiny - 2... More

I really enjoyed the staff, the location and the great service we received while staying at Siena prior to a Oct. 2016 cruise. We arrived earlier on check in day and the staff treated us with a smile and coffee and tea.The Spanish Steps no more five minutes away and most of all the other attractions are within walking distance.... I like the Siena and stay here regularly on my business trips to Rome. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Wifi in rooms good (although the desks can be small fir working at). Central location between Piazza Spagna and Trevi make it a convenient hotel for many sights and evening restaurants

This little hotel is in a perfect location for walking to many of the main attractions, e.g.Colosseum, Spanish Steps,Trevi Fountain, Pantheon etc. Situated in a very busy part of Rome with only a small entrance, it's easy to walk past though so keep an eye out for it if you choose to stay here. Positives; Obviously the location and 'most'... More

First off, the good. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Now, the bad. simply not a four star hotel. The room was terrible. No natural light at all which was terrible and worst of all, what they claimed was a king bed was actually two cheap twin beds of different heights pushed together so they would come apart almost... This hotel is recommended by its location - close to most everything. Walk to Trevi Fountain in 5 minutes. Walk to Spanish Steps (when open again) in 10 minutes. The rooms are comfortable, but since this is an older building in the center, do not expect great luxury. Don''t misunderstand - the accommodations are fine - very clean, staff terrific,... More

My wife and I spent two nights here in August 2016 and enjoyed it very much. Our rom was of adequate size with a nice bathroom, air-con and minibar. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good. All the staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful, especially the concierge/reception gentleman. Nothing was too much trouble for him.... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
