We stayed in the hotel for three nights and they got worst everyday, the receptionists are friendly the rest of the staff barely speak anything other than Italian. the room smells, bed sheets smell bad, and bed covers were dirty as well. food is very bad, the roof garden itself was not as expected. Simply the hotel got more ratings...

I am writing this review the last night of a two night stay. I cannot say enough about this hotel, especially the wonderful staff. I had an accident and needed a doctor. Staff made the necessary arrangement for a midnight house call by an English speaking doctor. Then, they helped me contact my insurance company. Great service. The hotel itself...

This hotel is okay for a short stay. We stayed only one night and then moved to another Rome hotel which was much much nicer. The staff here are not at all friendly or welcoming. The rooftop garden is nice but very hot in August.

Stayed four nights in June 2013 with family. This hotel was a gem! Great location close to Termini, and lots of restaurants close by. The rooftop garden was amazing, unfortunately we didn't have the best weather, but we made use of it when the weather allowed. Rooms and breakfast were very good, great staff and the bartenders were amazing! Hope...

Stayed in August 2013 with friends. Booked through a travel agency so was not aware of the price paid. After looking at the rack rate online I can say it does not justify. What I liked: the rooftop garden (although it was too hot in august to fully enjoy). It's a nice spot to lounge with friends and drink. The...

Good rooms and air conditioning. Nice people at the reception. They gave me atention when I make some confusion about my check out and were...

Spend there 3 days with some friends and absolutely love the roof garden. It's close to the train station, easy to find and there is some nice restaurants close by. You can walk from the hotel to the city centre without problem. The breakfast is great, the staff was friendly and very helpful.

Close to the train station and metro, this Hotel Diana is a good, affordable choice. The rooms were small, but nice. The staff friendly. The roof-top breakfast buffet was very nice, and the view from the roof garden was lovely.

Hotel Diana is a lovely hotel within walking distance of the city centre and close to the train/bus station. Single room was very comfortable, mini bar with complimentary Pepsi, water and crisps every day. No view apart from the hotel next door, but some people in my group apparently did have a balcony. Roof garden restaurant really good, buffet on...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
