Behind the doors of this luxe hotel on fashionable Via Babuino lies an oasis of tranquility. A gorgeous garden hotel to rest in relax while the hustle and bustle of Rome lies just outside. It must be said that everyone and everything in the hotel exudes style. The Rocco Forte group hotels are known for contemporary luxury decor and the...

Stayed at this hotel in October and had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious. Garden is a very nice touch in a busy city. Breakfast was plentiful and all the baked goods were very fresh and fruit was plenty. Did not try out the pool and spa but looks outstanding!...

Belonging to the exclusive Rocco Forte Hotel Group, this property belongs to one of the top higher end hotel properties in Rome. Great atrium gardens to rest and have a snack or a drink after a busy afternoon or day in Rome city centre. Higher end of course but always enjoyable with friends or as a couple. Central location. This was our 3rd stay at this hotel, but a discouraging one. It would have been nice if just once in 3 days the hotel recognized this loyalty. Their were check-in issues and one with Concierge. Slipping

Great hotel with a lovely garden and restaurant area outside, which is clearly frequented by a lot of Italians for lunch & drinks (the place to be - lots of 'ladies who lunch') as well as the residents. In a great location near the Spanish steps and Piazza del Popolo and in the heart of the shopping district. Downside was...

We had a fabulous time at the De Russie, I wish we could have stayed longer! The service from all the staff was impeccable and faultless. Our suite was perfect. The best part though was coming back from a busy day shopping and sightseeing in Rome to the beautiful courtyard and gardens and enjoying an ice cold glass of prosecco....

Elegant hotel conveniently situated in the lower side of the spanish steps. Very close to most attractions and shopping. Helpful and friendly staff. The price seemed to be on the high side when i first booked the hotel but when I experienced the place up-close I knew I was getting what I paid for.

Hotel De Russie provided the ultimate in Guest Service. Our every need was anticipated. We had our grandchildren with us, they had many special amenities in the room for them. The location in Rome was perfect. The bar service at night was truly something special.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.

“My room overlooked the street. I loved it. Get Junior Suite!”
  • My gorgeous room! I'm pretty sure this was the Junior Suite. Couch on the left against the wall.
  • View from my window. I LOVED it! Looked like a magazine cover. So Italian!
  • This is what I saw when I looked to the right out my window. Piazza del Popolo.
  • This is what I could see when I stepped outside my room door. Interior of hotel grounds.
  • This is what I saw when I looked left out my window (Spanish Steps this direction).
