We stayed at the Rimini two nights - October 7th and 8th prior to a cruise. If you are expecting a Holiday Inn or Cookie cutter room this is not the hotel. The hotel Rimini is a very European style hotel. the rooms are small but functional with windows that open out to the street. The hotel is about 3/4...

Our room was tiny, could barely fit two suitcases in. Lift was tiny, max three people but even that was a squeeze. Location is ok, 20 min walk to attractions. Subway is very handy. The hotel was really really noisy at night, the walls were paper thin so even the TV could be heard next door and everything could be...

This is a very old hotel and it is a bit hit and miss what kind of a room is allocated. The hotel is dark but clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfasts are great, the location so close to Termini Station is fantastic. We have stayed there more than once and very happy with it. Though so close to...

We stayed here because we arrived late into Rome and were taking the train out the next morning. The location is right next to the train but I recommend printing out directions (we walked quite a bit around before actually finding it). The room we were in was next to the breakfast room (lovely), so it was noisy early and...

We have been staying at the Rimini for 20 years now. This year we had four short stays. As a small family run hotel it is perfect if you don't want to feel like you are still in your home country. Location is ideal, it is always clean and the breakfasts are something we look forward to.

I have spent 5 nights at this hotel. In all this location is great and if your only looking for a over night stop close to the trains this is for you. Hotel Rimini needs a update. The rooms are small they have a desk that you cannot use as the bed is to big. The beds are uncomfortable. Breakfast...

We were staying in Rome for a family wedding and wanted to be close to everything. Location couldn't have been better! Transfer from airport simple especially when being dropped off at termini station - hotel less than a 5 min walk from the station. Plus plenty of shops in the station for food etc and lots of restaurants etc close...

The hotel is the perfect location for all top attractions, 2 minutes from the termini station, great after a late flight. We walked from the hotel to the Colloseum, to the Trevi fountain, and the Pantheon, taking about 20 minutes from the hotel. You can also get the Metro at the termini which costs €1.50 for 100 minutes use which...

You do not need a cab from the train terminal Hotel Rimini is within eyz shot and walking distance from the train terminal around 100 meters maximum. Our room 412 was spacious, two single beds and a queen sized bed, the bathroom was also spacious with a separate bath and shower, the room was presented in a very clean state....

Would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay here again. The amenities are excellent, I was pleasantly surprised. Air con, fridge in room, hairdryer, TV. On this point, the amenities vary from room to room. My mum had the room next door to mine. Her en suite was tiny, but had a proper hairdryer. My en suite...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
