We loved our stay at Hotel Pantheon! The location was great for getting everywhere. Due to the heat wave that Europe is having the AC in the room was not the best in our room; however, my parents room was fine. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again!

Hotel Pantheon is a great location to base yourself when discovering Rome. Next door to the Pantheon, you can walk to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we were in was small but comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The best thing about the room was the perfect air conditioning as it was very hot in Rome....

If you want the true flavor of being in "Old Time" Italy, go no further. The rooms are impeccably clean and more spacious than usual European rooms. The treat of being able to open our window and look and listen to the sites and sounds of all the fun below - shops, restaurants - and to be able to talk...

You will be, literally, around the corner from the Pantheon. The area is well served of restaurants and gelaterias (Ice cream). The hotel is situated in a very old building (which one isn't, in Rome?) but everything works fine, and breakfast is very good. We were is a quadruple room and they are on the top floor, and the internet...

Superb small central Rome hotel only 50 yds from the Pantheon! Super rooms and service - great restaurants and the best Gelato and Coffee Shop just on the doorstep. Way too many tourists but hey it's July!!! No complaints whatsoever and look forward to our next visit!

We stayed at The Pantheon, a family of 4 in a quadruple room. The place is pretty good, the location is amazing, literally "round the corner" from the temple/church from which it borrows its name. We could hear people singing in Piazza della Rotonda, not in an annoying way, but reminding us the Rome is a party 24/7. Breakfast was...

The bottom line is you should stay here if you can get a reservation. The location is great, with the Pantheon at the door, and many must see sights nearby and walkable. There are numerous restaurants within 100 meters. The hotel is a very old renovated villa that preserves the feel and character of old Rome, but it is air...

The hotel sits in side street just round the corner from the Pantheon, so the location was perfect. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The hotel is a little old fashioned in its decor but that just added to its charm. We had a rear room so we had no noise at all late at night, there are outside restaurants...

I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was centrally located an easy 15 minute walk to near every major historical site. The staff was very helpful in directing us to sites and obtaining transportation. The breakfast was solid with great service, outstanding coffee! The internet was spotty and slow at times but worked most of the time. We...

Stay away!!!! Do not stay here. We arrived to find hard beds and to make it worse the air conditioner was out. No one in our family of 4 were able to sleep. The condensation from the bathroom lasted through the night. They refused to accommodate us in any way after collecting nearly $400 from me. The manager, Roberto, told...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Pantheon is located in an elegant eighteenth-century building in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, in peaceful surroundings, characteristic of an old pedestrian street. The interior of this small but luxurious Rome hotel is well-cared for down to the finest detail, embellished with special, unique details such as the Liberty-style staircase in wrought iron, the wooden-clad walls, the ceilings with old wooden beams, the Roman terracotta floors, the artistic windows and the trompe-l'oeils decorations on the hall walls. The breakfast room is a charming place, thanks to the light of the Carrara marble and the dome ceiling painted with sky-colored trompe-l'oeil. Intimate and friendly, the Hotel Pantheon offers a relaxing stay for its guests, also thinking of their well-being with their range of high quality, personalized services such as ticket booking for shows and exhibitions, guided tours of Rome and the surrounding area, suggestions on itineraries and places that must be seen and the plentiful hot or cold buffet breakfast. ... more   less
