The hotel is in a very central location for tourists. Considering the relatively modest room rates, it is a good value. The room was small but clean and comfortable, the bathroom adequate, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, but the offerings were fresh. I did not spend a lot of time in...

I found this wonderful little hotel located very close to the Pantheon . It is located on a pedestrian street which can be a bit noisy but is easily tolerated considering all the positives. Location, cleanliness, fabulous Versace bathroom with the most wonderful tub, lovely breakfast included and helpful staff.

Small quaint hotel with friendly English speaking staff. Older building with Versace marble bathrooms! Clean, comfortable and quiet. Small corridors with elevator and good airconditioning. Restaurants next door very good and reasonable, best coffee in Rome across the street on the corner...the street is about 12 feet wide. Gelato and pasties next door...easy walk to Roman Antiquities and Museums.

Very nice and clean hotel. Good location. Beware Trevi fountain is currently being renovated. Only hiccup was bad walking directions given to train station. street noise from restaurant below was loud until 11 PM. Great location near Pantehon and Trevi Fountain. Longer walks to Colesium.

Couldn't ask for a better location, overlooking the Pantheon. We were staying in a suite in their "annex", which was part of a separate block just across the piazza from the main hotel. It was a bit pricey, but was a treat for us at the end of a longer stay in Italy, It worked out really well - we...

We loved our stay at Hotel Pantheon! The location was great for getting everywhere. Due to the heat wave that Europe is having the AC in the room was not the best in our room; however, my parents room was fine. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again!

Hotel Pantheon is a great location to base yourself when discovering Rome. Next door to the Pantheon, you can walk to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we were in was small but comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The best thing about the room was the perfect air conditioning as it was very hot in Rome....

If you want the true flavor of being in "Old Time" Italy, go no further. The rooms are impeccably clean and more spacious than usual European rooms. The treat of being able to open our window and look and listen to the sites and sounds of all the fun below - shops, restaurants - and to be able to talk...

You will be, literally, around the corner from the Pantheon. The area is well served of restaurants and gelaterias (Ice cream). The hotel is situated in a very old building (which one isn't, in Rome?) but everything works fine, and breakfast is very good. We were is a quadruple room and they are on the top floor, and the internet...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Pantheon is located in an elegant eighteenth-century building in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, in peaceful surroundings, characteristic of an old pedestrian street. The interior of this small but luxurious Rome hotel is well-cared for down to the finest detail, embellished with special, unique details such as the Liberty-style staircase in wrought iron, the wooden-clad walls, the ceilings with old wooden beams, the Roman terracotta floors, the artistic windows and the trompe-l'oeils decorations on the hall walls. The breakfast room is a charming place, thanks to the light of the Carrara marble and the dome ceiling painted with sky-colored trompe-l'oeil. Intimate and friendly, the Hotel Pantheon offers a relaxing stay for its guests, also thinking of their well-being with their range of high quality, personalized services such as ticket booking for shows and exhibitions, guided tours of Rome and the surrounding area, suggestions on itineraries and places that must be seen and the plentiful hot or cold buffet breakfast. ... more   less
