Located about 2 minutes from the Roma termini (the central/bus/train/metro station), this hotel is perfectly situated to visit almost all the attractions in Rome and beyond. All the major sights such as the Colosseum, Trevi fountain the Augosto forum are approx. 2 to 3 KM's away. The Breakfast was simple yet nice. They included, bread/cheeses/ham/salad/tomatoes/eggs and the usual croissants, cakes... More

We stayed 5D4N at Hotel Nord due to its location being close to Termini Station as well as the price being very reasonable. Room was booked way in advance with hesitation as the photos in their website looks jaded and "old". Imagine my surprised upon checking into the hotel. From front desk to room service and stay at the hotel...... More

This hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and they serve breakfast. It was also within minutes from the train station. We saved money on taxi services. From the train station we took a day trip to Pompeii instead of paying an expensive tour company to take us. The hotel was surrounded by restaurants, and shops. I bought... More

Rooms are very clean, not uptodate furniture. Htl is quiet, considered the position, which is great. Just a few minutes walk away from Termini Station, Repubblica... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
