The location of Hotel Nord Nuova Roma is perfect as it is right around the corner from the train station and within easy walking distance to all key sites (i.e.: Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain). We had arrived from Sorrento/Naples via train dropped our luggage in our room (room was available early!) and then headed out for a nice walk around the historic area. The room was perfect for our final night in Italy. It had a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom and a mini fridge with a couple bottles of water. The next morning we were pleased to have early access (6:30am) to the included continental breakfast (espresso coffees by machine available) and then we were on our way via 30 minute Leonardo Express train ride to Fiumicino (FCO) airport. All in all a perfect last stop. Don’t hesitate to book it.

We booked an Easyjet 5 night package to this hotel including breakfast. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by the man on reception. He apologised that our room was not ready early and kindly arranged for us to leave out luggage while we popped out for a couple of hours. We felt most welcome instantly. All staff we encountered were very polite, friendly and helpful without fail.
The breakfast staff were really efficient and even apologised when things had run out momentarily. One lady even bought a bowl of yoghurt to my husband when she had replenished the dispenser.
We presume the hotel has had a lot of recent refurbishment and it is really smart and clean/tidy. Our room was quiet despite being front facing. It was very comfortable. Breakfast selection was good and plentiful.
We would highly recommend this hotel. It is extremely convenient for the airport SIT bus stop and the Termini station (five minute easy walk), and in a good location for sights and restaurants whether on foot or by metro (Replublica metro is also nearby and smaller/less busy than Termini).
Like all local hotels, there is a city tax for the end of your stay 6 Euro per person per night.
We never had any safety concerns walking locally (obviously take precautions as for any city!). Room safes are provided. The fridge and kettle were a real bonus and there are local shops to get supplies.

We stayed at this hotel during our week's trip to Rome for the Ryder Cup being held at Marco Simone. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of its easy access to the Metro and the train station. It sits in the hub of activity for central Rome. However, we got much more than we anticipated. This three star hotel was immaculate. The room was cleaned every day to a very high standard and a great plus was that it was so quiet, no noise from the street/traffic. The staff were warm and welcoming and couldn't help enough. The roof terrace and bar were relaxing and afforded great views across Rome. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel due to getting to the golf course. Excellent stay, would definitely stay at this hotel again for a relaxing experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the price was really good. Any staff we interacted with were really friendly and helpful and we got a couple of dinner recommendations from them. When we arrived we were knackered and didn't want to go out so thought we'd grab a quick bite at the roof top bar. They told us it's all frozen food which is a bit disappointing but it was OK for what it was. The room was a decent size and the bed was really big and comfortable and plenty of hanging space. The shower however, was really small. Not even so much the cubicle but the door. I am a UK size 22 lady and I had to squeeze through the door and I mean squeeze, had to suck it in and had red marks on my skin from having to scrape past both sides. There is a kettle, safe and hairdryer. But they do not have any irons so you'll need to take your own. Our room looked out onto an alleyway between the hotel and another building and through the night there was a lot of noise. About 0100-0200 we were woken up,every night, by what I think might have been bins being emptied or something. Sounds of glass and something like a bin lorry or compacter. The breakfast had good options with bacon, eggs and chicken sausages as well as pastries, cakes and cereals, meats and cheeses and a variety of breads/rolls, and was good value. The reception/lounge area was really nice and never busy. The location was pretty good. We were 3 mins walk from republicca metro which we took to the Vatican. The main Termini is right outside also. Plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby. Loads of restaurants and galeterias right outside. It's about a 25 min walk to the colleseum and pantheon etc. The Vatican is a bit further out so the metro was the easiest option. Its not the best location for the main sights but it's great value for money when you can easily walk to the main attractions. It's all relatively flat so the walk is fairly pleasant.

The Hotel was central 2 minutes from the main bus terminal, trains and trans great location for all Romes beautiful historical sites and attractions also close to many restaurants. On arrival was greeted by a friendly man on reception who helped my Mum with her case and showed us to our room which a nice touch. The room very clean and small, the twin beds touched so was more look a double bed. The room did have everything we needed but very tired needs to be modernised. Our room was 670 so one floor up and at the back it was noisey glass bottles were regularly tipped out of a shoot at all hours, and staff would meet up and chat right under our window so was woken up at 6am most days. The hotels sound proofing is non-existent, you could hear everything and the hallway echoed. The clean staff were excellent as our room was always left spotless. We opted for Bed and Breakfast, breakfast served 6 30am to 10 .30am it was buffet style and there was a wide selection to choose from which was great, rolls, toast, fruit, yogurts, meats, eggs, fruit juice, cheese, cereals, croissants, jsms, cakes, coffees,The staff who worked at breakfast were very busy, and very short staffed. There was a lady with short hair and glasses who was very rude she mainly worked at the coffee machine where you had to que up and quest which drink you wanted she never smiled was very abrupt and very rude indeed. No smiles, please or thanks ever used she's was very unpleasant to all including other numbers of staff. Our room did have aircon which was fab as it was 31 degrees most days, there was also a minibar, there was soft drinks charged at 3 euros each. There is a lovely bar on floor 7 so pretty this is the best thing about the hotel , I wouldn't stay hear again as I feel there were better Hotels for the same or similar rates and was tired after the trip due to lack of sleep caused by noise.

Great location, close to Roma Termini for rail & Metro for travel around the vicinity and beyond. Loads of ristorante's and bars around - turn left out the door and left again and you'll find somewhere to eat without too much bother. The hotel lobby was clean and well presented with a couple of lifts. The superior room is decent enough, comes with a safe, fridge, TV and hairdryer. The shower was over the bath and came with shower gel/shampoo and other toiletries. Although the street outside our window was busy there are double windows which keep the noise out even in the morning rush hour. There is a roof top bar with lovely views over the city and colourful sunsets - get up there if you can. The Golden Tulip next door has a higher viewing platform but the drinks were pricey. Breakfast runs through till 10:30 and is adequate if not brilliant. The Colosseum is walkable and nearly all downhill (the Metro gets you back up the hill) and the Metro takes you to Vatican City and The Spanish Steps so you're in a decent position for most of the big ticket sights. The ho-ho buses stop nearly outside and you'll see the ticket sellers to the left of the door. I found Rome to be as spectacular as expected but quite dirty in a lot of places (rats running round) with a lot of homeless especially around the railway station although that doesn't have any bearing on the rating. Point docked for the not great breakfast and the lack of a bar in the lobby area but overall a really nice hotel with a lot going for it as a base to explore.

I am a travel agent so my review will be very fair. Upon arrival staff very very pleasant. We was given choice of rooms one very small and Loki g dates another a bit bigger and looking more modern. First night sleeping in our room bed extremely uncomfortable. Staff couldn’t do enough and moved us to a newly refurbished room which was very small but modern. Bathroom huge. Walk in shower which will need attention as the bathroom does flood. The room was very light and airy no complaints the bed was comfy. Breakfast is a bit of a let down. The area itself fabulous. The food however not so. The hot food every morning was totally cold. I did mention that but was greeted with a shrugged shoulder. So I had a bread roll and butter each morning or a piece of toast which is a shame. Another let down I went to reception for the use of an iron to be told no irons we would have to send our clothes to outside source to be ironed. If you’re looking for a location near to the station then it’s not too bad. It’s not somewhere I would return

We stayed from 21/03/22 - 28/03/22 the hotel is absolutely spotless, the location is fantastic the bus/train/ metro station is literally round the corner and most off the attractions are within walking distance. There are several restaurants on your doorstep my favourite the Washington bar just around the left hand corner. Our room was on the 5th floor with a magnificent view. The room had tea/coffee facilities and a wee mini fridge, there is a hairdryer in the bathroom and you also have a safe. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar area for chilling out after a long day. The breakfast choice is great something for everyone and the coffee is lovely. I couldn’t fault this hotel and if I return to Rome I will be booking this hotel again.

Stayed here in March 2024 as a couple. About 5-7 minutes walk from the Roma Termini Train Station and within the City Centre where you can walk around to various restaurants, malls, shopping centers, metro stations and hop on, hop off sightseeing buses. We reached by train towards late morning and were able to easily walk to the hotel with heavy bags. At check-in, we were informed to wait until 4pm for the room (as that seems to be their standard time), but we could leave our luggage in the storage and go sightseeing. We came back around 4pm and were then allotted a room. We had opted for a Double Standard Room which was allotted on a higher floor as per our request.
A nice, clean, compact room with a very compact sized bathroom and toiletries (toilet paper, towels, napkins and shampoo, body wash, and other amenities). The shower area was extremely small. There was daily housekeeping/replenishment for the 3N we stayed.
Since it was almost end of winter in Italy, we did not need the heater and the AC was not functioning, so had to open the window and the room was just about comfortable, at times would get warm especially in the day time with the bright sunshine. Buffet Breakfast was amazing, with a good spread and great taste, did get crowded at times.
Overall, a decent stay and would recommend staying here as this hotel was just perfectly centrally located, decent rooms and bathrooms, nice breakfast and value for money! Thank you Hotel Nord Nuova Roma for the wonderful hospitality and we would definitely stay here again!

We had stayed here from June 24th to june 28th. Marco, the hotel manager, was extended helpful and helped us find a Chinese restaurant that we liked so much we went to almost daily. He also helped us with day trips, the subway, travel, directions, places to see, taxi booking etc. The hotel is huge and has a lot of amenities, including an advanced gymnasium and a rooftop resturant. Rooms are clean and well organized with all the necessary amenities. Location of the hotel is right by the Termini station and is at a walkable distance from the Colosseum, the Roman forum, the pantheon and various other attractions. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend a few luxurious days at Rome.
