Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When booking this hotel on check in instructions it said no check ins after 530 so thinking that our flight was arriving at 1200 we would be fine. Our flight got delayed so we did not arrive until 4. According to the check in instructions we thought we would be fine. We arrived at the hotel and found nobody there. We called the number for the hotel and nobody answered, we text the number and nobody answered. We tried to send an email and nobody answered. We called the phone number attached to the flyer and talked to a third party company and they did not answer. Now that we were in a panic we looked further down the email, apparently there are special check in instructions. You cannot check in after 1 pm if you do not make arrangements. In todays world where flights are delayed, you think that these instructions would be in the check in instructions because if you are arriving before 530 one would think that you do not require special check in needs. These circumstances forced us to book another hotel for that night. We did not receive any communication from them at all. We tried to get a hold of them about the reservation from our booking company and they refused to refund us. They essentially stole from my wife and I. It has been over 6 weeks and I have not received my money back from them. One would think that if some doesn’t check in they’d communicate with the guest, they didn’t. Maybe, if someone calls the number provided or texts the numbers provided they would call you back. They did not. This was not what we wanted to start our honeymoon. Their lack of empathy and customer service is fully apparent with the lack of trying to communicate with their guests.

I recently stayed at Inn Rome during my trip to Rome and I had an overall disappointing experience. First and foremost, I must express my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated during my stay. I was falsely accused of stealing towels, which was not only offensive but also completely untrue. This incident left a sour taste in my mouth and made my stay uncomfortable. There was a staff member named Gabrielle who was impolite and disrespectful. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism and courtesy in their approach, and I couldn't help but feel that I was treated differently based on my race. This is entirely unacceptable, and such behavior has no place in the hospitality industry.

We were close to major attractions about 10-20 minute walk. Hotel staff were helpful. Restaurants were across the street and so were a couple of supermarkets. Laundromat was about 10 minute walk. Hop on hop off bus stop was about 5 minute walk away (highly recommend). Security, safety and privacy was great.

Usually, misunderstandings during travel are bad. When I booked Inn Rome, rushed by dwindling availability, I thought it was a normal hotel. To my surprise, it was not. Instead of a normal hotel with big reception desk and staff waiting, many rooms and a restaurant, Inn Rome has only few rooms, no dining, and I only found the reception on my 3rd day. This sounds like the start of a negative review, but it’s not! Even before my flight, Fabiana, the amazing manager, reached out via WA, asking when we will arrive. As that was after the end of her day she dropped the keys for the room at the Trattoria across the street and offered to arrange a car to pick us up at the airport. Letting ourselves in was easy, the room was clean and perfect, and the building itself is a stunning townhouse with an incredible inner courtyard! While there is no dining, getting breakfast in central Rome is super easy. There are cafés along most streets in the area and the location is incredible! Always, Fabiana was available via WA, supportive and helpful, and clearly passionate about her guests. She arranged to store our bags on departure and a car to the airport. The support she gives goes way beyond normal hotel staff .. it's family-level care, and truly lovely! Had I seen that Inn Rome is only a few rooms and has no restaurant, I might have skipped over it. Through my oversight, I didn't notice and booked. It was a good accident, as I now have a favorite hotel in Rome which I will gladly book again!

We have just returned from a 4 day break and stayed in Inn Rome Rooms/Suites and couldn't have stayed anywhere nicer, Central Location for the Sites all within easy walking distance. The Room was very spacious and comfortable, with a Mini Bar which was really reasonably priced. Fabiana is lovely and so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was brought to your room everyday which made it special. We will certainly be back.

Great location, only a few minutes from the Vatican and a decent walk to the Colosseum. Fabiana has been very helpful with the booking process and the whole check in process. The room was very spacious, clean and the bathroom as well. Breakfast is also very good. Bonus point: the gelateria from across the street is absolutely amazing!:) Highly recommended

Working in Rome filming at the Rome Forum & in the Vatican for NHK Japanese TV company this was in a perfect location for the 2 sites. Check in desk is on 1st floor & not in courtyard. Room, large & clean.. Bed, 2 singles put together so large if not a little too firm for me, the 4 pillows were ok & the linen was clean.. It's December but the heating does keep it warm.. Nice bathroom & water pressure is ok. It is incredibly noisy not only from the main road but from the staff as well, Italian ladys cannot talk to each other without shouting & seeing as reception deck is next to my room the chatter early in the mornings was somewhat annoying.. The radio plays from a speaker in the ceiling outside the door as well which adds to the general cacophony going on. Flat screen tv which you can change some channels into English to watch. Fridge, coffee making machine but you do have to pay for the pods if you use it. They serve breakfast to your room & depending who makes it decides on what you get & how much of it, my coffee was stone cold this morning but I got 2 pastries, 2 butters & 2 jams so it's pot luck. Not sure of the price as company paid but I don't think it's mega pounds. Plenty of bars & resturants along with a supermarket on the corner of the church square. If you are looking for quiet romantic then it's not here, if you just want a place to crash while you are out ALL day site seeing & need a central location then this fits the bill. So it begs the question, would I bring the good lady here for a weekend visit? Actually I would as we would be out all day & it will probably be for 2 nights only.. Uber taxi service in Rome is amazing by the way..

We stayed at the Inn Rome Rooms for 5 days in September. The location is good, albeit reception wasn’t as easy to find as the norm. Better signage would help, as the desk is up a flight from the ground level and not well marked upon arrival. There wasn’t always someone at the desk, if something was needed, and no real way to contact anyone. When we arrived initially, the desk was empty and it took a while before we found anyone, but once we did, checkin was easy and quick. Whenever she was there, Anna was great. Always cheerful and wanting to be helpful, but the other woman (I think the boss) wasn’t quite as amenable or friendly. Most of the time, Anna seemed to be the entire staff, cleaning rooms, serving breakfast to the room in the morning, etc.; she works hard. Our 1st floor room (second level) was huge and relatively comfortable, with a nice table to sit at for breakfast in the morning; however, the air conditioner in the room was very loud and not as effective as one would hope, especially when sweltering hot outside. We asked it to be looked at or repaired and were told it would be serviced on the Monday, but nothing changed. We were told that it worked fine and that it would shut off if the windows were opened, but we did not ever open them, especially not with the sweltering heat outside. The room wasn't as quiet as one would hope; we heard the traffic and people on the street, despite the loud air conditioning. Normal street traffic is common in Rome, but the combination of the two made sleeping a bit difficult at times. Breakfast consisted of coffee or cappuccinos, a croissant, sometimes a nice crusty roll, and a couple of small pastry squares, yogurt and juice, jams and Nutella. A tray was delivered to the room promptly each morning, which was nice and Anna was always friendly, when she delivered it. This B&B is close to the Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori; also not far from the bus stop and taxi stands.
