We only were able to stay one night but the staff was so very friendly and spoke good English. They stored our luggage until our room was ready and brought the luggage up to the room. We were able to check in earlier than the 2pm check in time (Thank you!). We were able to walk to the Vatican several...

This is a hotel property close to the Vatican area. Lots of restaurants stores etc nearby. Good area to stay in, fun area to stay in. The hotel itself hasn't much to offer per amenities. No pool etc., probably not a great kids place. You get a very clean and nice room, good service, adequate breakfast included. Fun, funky elevator...

Not in the greatest area. Small rooms even for Italy. Staff do not speak English. It's a very rundown property. Should not have booked this hotel. Black mold in the bathrooms. Ended up not taking the room and moved to a better hotel. Never again.

Thank you for leaving us feedback about your stay. We are sorry to hear about the issues you had while staying with us. You did not let us the time to find a better solution for you. Regarding the photos, fully reflect reality. The photographer has added more artificial light but the rooms with exterior views are still very bright....

We spent 17 nights at the hotel. It is perfectly located between Vatican City and Ottaviano Metro Station for those who would like to venture by train around or away from Rome like we did.The family room we were allocated was good and well kept. The bed was comfortable, spacious and clean. Admittedly, as the days went by, breakfast got...

Hotel room was well presented. The room was very clean and the bathroom also. We found the hotel to be excellent value in comparison to other local hotels. The hotel is within a few minutes walk from the Vatican City with the nearest metro station being Ottoviano.

This is not a luxury hotel, however, it is perfectly located...literally minutes from the Vatican City. Lots of restaurants and shops right out the door. The room was not "fancy" in any way, but it was comfortable and fairly spacious for the family room we stayed at. The water pressure in the shower was great, even though the fixtures were...

We booked this hotel on the basis of previous reviews, one of which specifically noted it was possible to stroll down each morning to the Vatican parish church of Saint Anne for Holy Mass. And for this it was ideal as the little church is only 5 or 6 minutes away by foot. Indeed the location is perfect for exploring...

This is by far the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. The room I had was on the fifth floor, and was small by American standards. This is not a complaint, but a fact. The room was spotless! The bathroom was also spotless. I like a very firm mattress and was very happy with the bed. Slept with...

Amalia is a good value choice near the Vatican. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and breakfast better than expected. Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
