Stayed here last weekend had a great room, staff were very professional and friendly, breakfast was great too (and this was after 2 nights at the intercon). Reading some of the other reviews on here I'm wondering if they got the wrong hotel as this one was spotless and the rooms were great

We booked 4 night in this hotel after reading reviews form Trip Advisor, We thought that the roof top breakfast room would be fresh air but it was a closed in airconditioned room. Our first impression was that it was a bit grubby. The lift was dirty. needed vacuuming and the dirty marks on the stairs and around light switches...

Dear Customers, It is our great pleasure to offer to all our guests breakfast in the beautiful roof top that, as you can see from pictures published on internet starting from this page of Tripadvisor, it is closed by sliding window-doors anyone can open to admire the magnificent view even better: most beautiful photos can be taken from over there....

Having stayed at the Barberini Hotel nine years ago, and absolutely loving it, I decided to stay there again on my recent visit to Rome with three friends. I couldn't have been more disappointed - a once lovely hotel is now tired and worn and underwhelming. Carpets on stairs are threadbare and furniture in lobby is due for a thorough...

We have just returned from a 3 night break in Rome, staying at the Hotel Barberini. The hotel is in an excellent location, within 5 mins walk to both the spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. It also only took us approx 45 mins to walk to the Vatican, and about 20-25 minutes to walk to the Coloseum. In fact,...

The hotel is very well located (near the subway and bus stops). Rooms are clean and comfortable. They made a mistake with my reservation and in the first night put me and my wife in two separated single rooms, but they moved us to a nice couple room the day after. This episode was frustrating, but the staff tried to...

We stayed at Barberini for four nights on our first trip to Rome. What a perfect spot for newbies like us. The location was perfect. Close to Metro, bus and cab stands, as well as Trevi Fountain and the lovely Via Veneto. The real magic at Hotel Barberini however was the staff. Without exception, from the staff at the front...

The location is great for seeing all sites in Rome. The price per night was very good for this area of Rome. The rooms were a good size for Rome and although not new were very clean. The staff was extremely fiendly and helpful. Breakfast came with the room, and diningroom is located on the 6th floor, nice view of...

We have returned from our first stay in Rome, where we got married. We stayed at Hotel Barberini. The staff were extremely helpful. They could not have done more for us. The rooms were excellent, with a lovely view of rome from the top floor restaurant. Location wise the hotel was brilliant. We very close to all the major sites,...

Hotel is basically right in the center of Rome. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. Room was pretty small but its expected for Rome. Bathroom was a good size. Overall the room was comfortable. Internet was a plus. Breakfast on the 6th floor was very enjoyable. Staff were friendly. I would return here for the location...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
