We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Our room was HUGE and immaculate. A great location very close to Piazza Novona and Trevi fountain. Very helpful staff who were always happy to help. Lovely hotel, have already recommended it to 2 sets of friends who were also very happy with their stay!

We arrived to Rome via train from Venice early in May. We were told we had been "upgraded" so imagine our surprise when we were shown a small and very dated room. I was disappointed but unpacked anyways. We had amazing accommodations in Venice and this was truly a let down. The front desk seemed bewildered that i wasn't happy...

Hotel car collected us from the airport, driver very knowledgeable. Hotel was beautiful and the executive suite was lovely, it was traditional and very spacious with a ceiling that must have been 18-20 ft high, overlooking the parliament building, it was spotlessly clean although showed some signs of age. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Bed was huge and comfortable....

Two couples. Great location. Lovely room. Great staff!!!! We stayed three nights and loved it. Close to everything. It's a perfect place to explore Rome. We would return in a flash. One of the most comfortable beds we had in Italy. Lovely after a long travel day. Kettle in room was great too.

This was our first trip to Rome and we will definitely be back. The location of the hotel was excellent, with the Pantheon only a few minutes away, we were in walking distance to the heart of the city. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is very traditional and the rooms are very clean. The only...

We stayed here for three nights and had a really lovely time. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better as we were able to walk to all the important sites.. We had a deluxe room on the fourth floor at the front of the hotel. The room was very spacious with a separate siiting area. Although the room...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
