Large, classical architecture, 1920 building full of rich history. The hotel offers modern amenities and updated spacious rooms, large12 ceilings. This hotel offers one of the largest room selections within Rome. Beautiful marble showers with updated plumbing. Very friendly staff, great health club, restaurant, classic bar and fabulous location within central Rome. Approxitmently 1/2 mile from Spanish steps. Great shopping...

The Grand Hotel Palace is a gem and one of the best hotels that we've stayed in Europe. The location is the best in Rome, right on Via Veneto, within walking distance to the Spanish Steps and other major attractions, close to the Barberini subway station if you need to go further out. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful....

This hotel is excellently located, walking distance to major attractions, shopping and restaurants, as well as being a short walk to Bus stations, metro and Hop on Hop off. The rooms are excellent, the service is good and the restaurant has good meals and a great breakfast. All in all a Hotel to return to!

Great location. Lovely, well-maintained, up to date rooms. The bathrooms are very clean as well. This is a very comfortable hotel with friendly and very welcoming staff. We came to this hotel after a very bad experience in another hotel on the same street, and everything in this hotel was very impressive. I would definitely consider this hotel on my...

Perhaps they are changing hands soon or something. There just seems to be something off. All the trappings of a 5 star hotel are there. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and fairly large and well maintained. I think it could easily be a superstar hotel as everyone holds a professional attitude. Most of the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful....

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
