Nice hotel in Rome, walking distance to Spanish Steps (about 15 min) in a quiet zone with hotels, restaurants and embassies. Travelled with our 2 year old baby. Staff was very helpful and extremely kind with our baby. They even cooked dinner for her that wasn't part of the menu (the restaurant upstairs is quiet and very good). Wifi is...

The Hotel is pretty famous. The Hotel Manager is quite the host, but can be brisk. The wifi was not working most of the time and this was a business trip, so it was pretty vital. The cool October nights needed a little heat and the hot days needed air, but neither was working. I would stay in this area,...

This hotel is in a good location for sightseeing. The Hop on Hop Off buses operation a few hundred metres away and are ideal for seeing all the main sites of Rome. It is an older style hotel and the rooms are modern and a good size with a modern wet room ensuite. The breakfast is a comprehensive buffet of...

Contact was made by the hotel's guest relations manager, Fabrizio Vitale, who enquired of our arrival details. We were arriving on the last flight from London - so would only be getting through to the hotel past midnight. Fabrizio suggested a car to collect us - lucky he did as there was a mix-up at the airport with our luggage....

This is an older hotel but our room was completely refurbished, spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. Beautiful bathrooms. Great breakfast included. Public space a bit old but you don't live in the lobby! Service is well above average. Have included some photos.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

“Wouldn't want a room on the front of the hotel again as outside although convenient there is a taxi point which ran through the evening and some drivers were inconsiderate in terms of noise especially as we needed the windows open as the weather was very mild during the night and we were on the first floor. ”
