The hotel is on a picturesque street in Rome lined with beautiful trees. The hotel is clean and luxurious. They serve a wonderful continental breakfast every morning and the cappuccino's from the restaurant are phenomenal. There are breathtaking views on the terrace where you can enjoy dinner or just an evening drink. The concierges are very helpful, ask for authentic...

Below average breakfast, check to see if there is a wedding on because if there is you wont be able to dine or use the rooftop bar, no other bar available or restaurant, bathroom is dated and old, room is spacious ( superior) although nowhere to hang bathrobes or towels, teacloths as face towels , very small bath, room key...

First time we stayed in this hotel. Friendly staff, perfect location, close to some main attractions, the only downside was the iron situation. For safety reason they don't provide one in the room, we had to go to the second floor to do our own ironing, which wouldn't be a problem, but every time we've tried that room was locked....

1) We were shocked when we got our checkout bill in the last day. We were charged 46.6 euros more. We were told that it was for using the mini bar. Apparantly we had couple of small snack (peanut) tins, small juice bottles (i think 4), small water bottles ( i think 4 again) which wouldn't have cost more than...

This was the first time traveling to Italy. The reception staff couldn't have been more engaging and helpful. This hotel is charming and boutiquey, the rooms are small but well appointed, clean and comfortable. They serve a very nice breakfast buffet and the roof top bar is a fun place to sip a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing....

The hotel looks nice and the room is OK it's close to the center but the water flow in the shower is so weak you can't shower and the hot water runs out after 5 minutes. We got back to the hotel at 16:00 pm and they did not clean the room..

This wonderful hotel was such a great bargain. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is within walking distance to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and more attractions.... Upon an early arrival, our bags were placed in a secure storage room. The bags were transferred to our room when...

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had an amazing time. Check in was fast and easy, welcoming staff at reception, smells fresh and lovely, fast and easy. Got given a map of the city with some instructions towards the main tourist attractions. You can also book some tours with them should you wish. A few steps from...

This is a really nice hotel, close to many landmarks and the shopping district. We were able to walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, St Peters etc. It is also quite close to a metro station too. Rooms were nicely decorated and there was plenty of space as well as a full bathroom with (bath) - a lot of...

Stayed the end of March 2017 for 3 nights. Location was decent but rooms very average at best and hotel decor was tatty in places and needs renovation. The lifts are very poor and exceptionally slow. Breakfast was probably the worst experience I have had in this grade of hotel. The breakfast room is in the basement with no natural...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

“Wouldn't want a room on the front of the hotel again as outside although convenient there is a taxi point which ran through the evening and some drivers were inconsiderate in terms of noise especially as we needed the windows open as the weather was very mild during the night and we were on the first floor. ”
