We recently took a trip to Rome and stayed at this hotel as part of a tour package arranged for us. The breakfast was quite good and the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location is within a 5 minute walk to the main train station in Rome (Termini station). Even though we had a "triple" room (a queen size...

We had a lovely stay at the Palladium. Extremely service minded staff, especially in the lobby helping us with any service or question we might have. The roof top bar was a nice place to end our day at with a tasteful glass of red wine.

The hotel is nice and clean and the staff are friendly. The room was ideal for my needs and the location is very near to the main train station and therefore convienient for metro link and bus tours for sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again.

Well what a Surprise. We arrived late after a very long flight we had had issues with our MasterCard being hacked and our booking was looking like being cancelled. However when we arrived the staff made sure that we were taken care of and all our worries were gone. The hotel is clean, quiet and all you need when visiting...

This hotel is perfectly situated if on a tight schedule for a weekend break. Very close to the train termini. All the top sites to visit are all walkable from this hotel, with the Vatican just under an hour away. The walk is beautiful, cobbled streets and beautiful architecture and plenty of cafes along the way. The staff were all...

When we checked in on my wife's birthday, the desk clerk noticed this and wished her a happy birthday. A short while later, there was a knock at the door and the porter presented her with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in a wine bucket! A very thoughtful surprise! The breakfasts were another highlight. Fresh carrot, celery and apple...

We had 9 couples join us for our wedding in a beautiful old Catholic Church near Ama. It is one of the oldest Catholic Churches in the world, built between 1000-1200 AD. Our elderly local priest performed his last official Mass/Rite when he married us, retiring thereafter.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel's elegant interiors, attended to in their every detail and made precious by the courteous and professional ambience provided by its staff, make of the Hotel Palladium Palace one of the most successful 4 star hotels in Rome. A magnificent late 19th century edifice houses the hotel's interiors, with its (24 hr) reception adorned in classic noble wood furnishings coordinated with marble. The common areas in the Hotel Palladium Palace are embellished with sophisticated and refined details, such as findings of ancient fragments of marble friezes. The hotel's guests have access to the lobby and TV room, the bar (always open), and the breakfast hall with its American style buffet (serving sweet and savory offerings). The gym features a sauna, a rarity for a 4 star hotel in Rome, and an ideal choice for those who want to keep fit during their vacation or business trip in a hotel in Rome. The Hotel Palladium Palace's most spectacular feature is its rooftop, with a panoramic terrace on the last floor of the building, overlooking the rooftops and cupolas of Rome, where the hotel's guests can enjoy the privilege of having breakfast or spending relaxing moments in good company. ... more   less
