The hotel was in the perfect location, 5 minutes away from the termini station and around 25 minutes to the main attractions! There were also several restaurants fairly close to the hotel if you do not want to walk far in the evening. The interior of the hotel was fairly dated and needed some attention, we also felt the hotel...

Managed to get a good deal by placing booking direct with hotel. Location of hotel is within walking distance of most of the main tourist sites as well as the main train station. Hotel management placed a bottle of fizz in the room as it was my husbands birthday. Thank you.

The location of the hotel is central - less than a 5 min walk to Roma Termini and a 15 min walk to the Colosseum. Our room was huge! The bathroom was much the same with a bath, which is always lovely. The only negative is the room doesn't have a safe.

The hotel is a quick walk to Termini Station which was convenient when in need of public transport or a taxi. At first the neighborhood looks a little dodgy, but it grew on us by the end of the trip. The staff was very helpful especially when trying to confirm shuttle arrangements with an outside company. The rooms on the...

We stayed here recently while in Rome. It's location is ideal because of it's proximity to Termini Station and hence you can get to pretty much anywhere you need to visit. On our quick trip to Rome, the hotel was just somewhere we wanted to crash each night after visiting and touring and this hotel fits that bill. However, it...

A comfortable stay, close to central station and with a very nice and polite staff. A bit complicated though to find your way around the hotel but that only adds excitement! We would have loved to stay longer if we could.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel's elegant interiors, attended to in their every detail and made precious by the courteous and professional ambience provided by its staff, make of the Hotel Palladium Palace one of the most successful 4 star hotels in Rome. A magnificent late 19th century edifice houses the hotel's interiors, with its (24 hr) reception adorned in classic noble wood furnishings coordinated with marble. The common areas in the Hotel Palladium Palace are embellished with sophisticated and refined details, such as findings of ancient fragments of marble friezes. The hotel's guests have access to the lobby and TV room, the bar (always open), and the breakfast hall with its American style buffet (serving sweet and savory offerings). The gym features a sauna, a rarity for a 4 star hotel in Rome, and an ideal choice for those who want to keep fit during their vacation or business trip in a hotel in Rome. The Hotel Palladium Palace's most spectacular feature is its rooftop, with a panoramic terrace on the last floor of the building, overlooking the rooftops and cupolas of Rome, where the hotel's guests can enjoy the privilege of having breakfast or spending relaxing moments in good company. ... more   less
