The owner was very welcoming. We had a room which had a fridge, TV, armoire - it was comfortable. Our bathroom was only a few steps away off the hallway. There was tea and coffee as well in the hallway for all guests to share. It was about a 10-15 min walk to the Vatican with lots of cafes and...

I fell in love with the owners of this B&B!! You will and not be disappointed with this place. I saw the owner out one evening and he stopped me to ask how my day had been etc. The rooms were clean and lovely and it is about 10 minutes from the nearest metro station (Cipro) and about a 20...

Located in residential district populated by Italians. Hotels do not offer that Italian feel. The owner is always at your disposal, happy to help. Knowing we are leaving before dawn, having no chance to eat breakfast, left at our door morning survival kit :) Italian breakfast served in a cafe round the corner where Italians rushing for work stop by....

I decided to travel to Rome alone and wanted to find a no-frills small space to lay my head. I also wanted to be able to talk with Rome locals without feelings like I was talking with a concierge. If you are low-maintenance and truly in town to see Rome by day and rest by night, then Altamita is the...

Terrible service, emphasis on terrible. They are not available to you except during check in, and not very accommodating. There's NO option to hold luggage before or after check in. We wanted to have our bags held for about an hour and they wouldn't even try to accommodate that request so we had to bring our heavy bags to the...

I was a little bit afraid about sharing bathroom with other room, but during our visit time there was only one man and ever I haven't seen him at all :-). Close to the Vatican. You will got the ticket for breakfast is close bar (behind two corners) -...

It's close to Vatican City and to a subway station. We had the Santa Maria room, with private bathroom (although the access it's from the hallway). The room was very clean and well organized. The owner it's very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast it was just a coffee and a croissant - literally, but we did know about that so...

“They have one room with its own bathroom and two rooms which share one bathroom. I think two rooms for one bathroom is good enough. Of course it depends on people in other room.”

“I think that the only room with a private bathroom it's Santa Maria... so ask for that room.”
