Andrea was extremely helpful before and during our visit. A great space (we were 4 adults and 2 kids). As we booked all 4 rooms, we had the apartment to ourselves. The apartment and the outdoor space were beautiful. The neighborhood had a nice market and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful guesthouse and we loved it! We were 4 couples and we all appreciated that we had our own bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Andrea was great and allways at our service. The kitchen, dining area and living room are specious and we enjoyed beeing able to prepare our own meals. The neighbourhood was quiet...

We were four couples staying for four nights, and had the best time. All the bedrooms has an suite bathroom, and enough room for luggage. The main areas had a kitchen, dining area and a big sofa. Enough room for eight people not to feel cramped. We had great weather, and spent most of the time outside in the garden....

Our expectations were surpassed! Andrea, our host, was wonderful! My mom and two of my sisters stayed 10 days and we didn't want to leave. The home was perfect for us! We each had our own room and our own bathroom. The living room was spacious and a great place to relax. If that weren't enough, the backyard has a...

This lovely guesthouse is in a lovely, residential neighborhood, yet at the same time, very close to everything you want to see in the city. It is close to the Vatican and the beautiful Trastevere area. There are lots of little restaurants and a market close by. We were there with a group of friends, and we so enjoyed coming...

I was in Rome in late November together with a group of 7 friends. The landlord provided us with a beautiful, clean and everything-available guesthouse. He gave us beautiful tips and insights on how to explore the city and managed some of our trips and took his time to show us all the things we wanted to see. Above all,...

Our friends and we stayed at this beautiful guesthouse in August. Carla greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. The place is spacious and clean. We had the whole guesthouse to ourselves (four bedrooms for four adults and four kids). It has a beautiful backyard. This guesthouse would be close to perfect if it had laundry facilities onsite and...

We had a great experience here. Delia and Andrea were very helpful in booking the trip and following up on small concerns once there (coffee machine stopped working). There was plenty of room to very comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 4 kids. As we booked all 4 rooms, we had the apartment to ourselves, but it seems well set up...

Andrea welcomed us very warmly and made sure we had whatever we needed for the length of our stay - he was a superb host. The apartment is large and well-equipped, located in a nice neighborhood, but without much to see nearby (though Andrea recommended a delicious restaurant one block away that we loved). The only two negatives of our...

Staying in Monteverde

Neighbourhood Profile
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centrepiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
