I've stayed at Gabriel's place for two nights and I have to say that Gabriel is the nicest host that I ever met. He is so handsome and kind that I would say he is the best of the B&B. This residencia place is good for those who are looking for a place to crash. The place is clean. Room... More

After a lot of searching for somewhere cheap to stay in Rome we decided to book A Casa di Al&Ga. Safe to day we were thoroughly pleased with our choice. Firstly, the location is fantastic as just round the corner to a metro station linked directly to Termini train station and just 10 minutes walk from the Vatican walls. It... More

I really wanted to like this place, provided it's never less than an average review. But unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Firstly when we arrived, the room wasn't ready, even though we informed the owner our time of arrival. But she was nice enough to let us keep our luggage and asked us to come back in... More

7 min walk to the Vatican, a stroll to the nearest Metro station, clean basic accommodation ideal for a short sight seeing trip...The owner was great gave me a map and talked me through places to see and how to get there. I would definitely recommend in fact I will be going back there on my next trip to Rome...

Great location just a short walk from the Vatican. The owner was very helpful showing us on a street map all the places to visit & how to get there, this really helped us as first time visitors to Rome. The room was clean & comfortable & all we needed for a short city break.

Great location for the Vatican, all other interesting sights in easy walking distance. The owner will give you a map of things to see and the route to take - we did it all. 24 hr refreshments available. Pillows very flat - we had to use the extra bedding to add some bulk to them. Our room was 1 of... More

I was very pleased with my choice of this B&B. Only minutes from the Metro and St Peter's, it is modest and clean with a most excellent proprietor who loves his city and enthusiastically shares his knowledge. I loved the extra touches of food and coffee available 24/7 (for free) potpouri in the room and all the advice. This is... More

This B&B is only a few minutes walk from the metro and the Vatican. The staff and owners were very helpful and welcoming. Positives: - location - friendly staff - air conditioned - all day breakfast - free and reliable wifi Negatives: - tiny shower: I had the single room so maybe they're larger in the the rooms - the... I found this B&B through booking.com, and it is great for location and relatively cheap for Rome. 5 minutes walk from the metro, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the Vatican is less than 10 minutes walk. Wifi is great, and worked consistently. The lady who checked me in was friendly, despite me being quite late due... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
