The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous and always willing to help in whatever way they could. We had a good sized room with a decent bathroom and a small balcony overlooking some grassy area and quite a few houses and apartment buildings. This hotel was nice and the breakfast was quite good, but the hotel...

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid September. We wanted to see Rome before a 13 day cruise of the mediteranian. The front desk was polite, the bellman, Joseph was very nice. The rooms were so-so. Nothing special. Beds were very low and hard as a rock!. The main gripe I had with this hotel is the lack of...

Hotel a bit further away from city, but still reachable if you are not afraid of walking. Local buses run every 10/15 minutes and are cheap, local train station around the corner. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant, but breakfast was excellent. A couple of very good, local (prices) restaurants only 2 or 3 minutes walk away, so...

The Grand Hotel Tiberio was a good value. The breakfast was adequate and saved us a lot of money on breakfast. The staff was helpful in suggesting restaurants and busses. There was a bus stop right near the hotel and we made use of the good public transportation. The only drawback about this hotel is that it is a little...

This hotel may be more in a residential area, but there is very easy access to the local bus line which takes you directly to the piazza just a minutes walk outside of the Vatican. Good access to the tour buses, tons of restaurants, Vatican Museum. The tour bus drops you right off at the ruins. Very good continental breakfast...

We stayed at the GHT June 25-28 and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located near (NOT WALKING DISTANCE) the Vatican in a quiet residential area. The local commuter train is right around the corner with trains every 15 minutes to a Metro station that you can take anywhere you want to go, Try and avoid rush hours beacuse the...

We booked the hotel based on a package they offered in early 2009. We thought the staff was friendly, quite helpful, and very punctual. The service in the restaurant was excellent. Our room was nice-no view but we had not expected a view. We spent most of our time touring the wonderful city. We would stay there again.

Grand Hotel Tiberio was the worst part of our trip! The staff was rude and barely able to conceal their disdain. The room was definitely NOT a 4 star by any means, and whenever we made a request- it was ignored. I can only assume that they don't like north American guests. It was definitely NOT the Italy that I...

The price was, on face value, very competitive for a 4 start hotel, however, after one night we realised why. Firstly, the promised view did not exist (from any room, according to reception). We complained and were told by the night receptionist that this was only a 'request' even though we had papers to prove the description. He was totally...
