A comfortable if small room and fairly quiet hotel. Shower only facilities were clean and adequate. The breakfasts are served by a welcoming staff and the concierges are very well informed and helpful. The best part of the Veneto Palace is its location, as it is close to Villa Borghese, Via Veneto and so many of the great sites are...

Very good location just a 10 minute bus ride or a 20 minute walk from the centre of Rome. For the two of us this room was perfect- small and quiet away from the noise! The rooms were decorated in a very classic style and the bathroom was satisfactory. Wifi was very strong. Overall, I would say not 4 star...

This hotel was handy for the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and it was in a quiet location. Decor in the reception area and and breakfast room was in the classic style. The concierge was helpful in assisting with a booking, but did not address our complaints about the room effectively. Our bathroom had a good shower but only very...

Stayed for 4 nights and paid the extortionate €48 City Tax. Without sounding like a record i agree with most of the reviews. Great location. We walked everywhere even to The Vatican City..and 20 minutes for Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps & Colosseum . Breakfast average. Couldn't stomach the cooked fayre. Below Par. Tinned Hotdogs and a bright red "slush".(iam an...

OK hotel but wouldn't say it's a 4 star hotel, at least not by British standards. For breakfast there was only three hot items, dry scrambled eggs, burnt bacon and hotdogs, the rest was cold good. The room was fine but got really hot during the day and they air con unit wasn't working, when I went to tell them...

Friendly staff but the bathrooms had a foul smell to them. Others on our tour complained of the same problem. Adequate breakfast. Not impressed by this hotel. Traveled with Insight Tours and found the hotels in Florence and Venice to be much nicer. This hotel was the only negative about our tour - an opinion shared by most of our...

Just spent a few days here so thought I'd pen some words on my thoughts. Location wise, it's great, it's off the beaten track out of the hustle and bustle of town, so quiet location. It is up hill to get back so be prepared for a bit of a climb. The rooms are lovely and clean and bed linen...

We found this place to be perfectly located , within easy walking distance (10 minutes or thereabouts ) of the Trevi Fountain for example, and from there to the Spanish Steps in just a few minutes .Plenty of bars , retaurants and cafes close by. Rooms were very comfortable and a substantial breakfast was offered over the course of 3...

We had one of the twin rooms and found it to be absolutely fine size wise. Clean & comfortable. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but were aware before our stay that they weren't available from other reviews. Breakfast was fine, buffet style and ample tea/coffee on offer there. We did try to book for lunch...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
