Stayed here for 4 nights in February. Lovely hotel! It's close to the trevi fountain and walking distance to the colosseum, Spanish steps and pantheon. Viator (a website) do a super colosseum tour and a super Vatican City tour that we did. Hard Rock Cafe is 5 mins walk away too - spent every night here for a cocktail stop....

quirkily decorated rooms, comfortable beds, quiet enough, lovely friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is within walking distance of Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain or a taxi costs around 6euro. Nearby shopping in La Rinascente department store on Piazza Fiume (5 minutes walk) and plenty of local restaurants and bars. We found a museum of fashion form 19thC on Via...

We stayed in this lovely hotel on a recent trip to Rome. It is within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions e.g. Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps etc. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is varied and very tasty.

Stayed here for 4 nights during our stay in Rome! It had everything we needed! Although the rooms are quite small, it made no difference! Clean, maid cake everyday, reception very friendly! Location is a little far about, approx 30 minute walk into the centre of Rome, but it wasn't a big deal, we enjoyed the walk! Highly recommend! We...

Very comfy beds. Ornate decor-feels really Italian.good choice for breakfast. Staff very helpful. This hotel is in an excellent position for all of the sights. If you don't want to walk you are close enough to the tube station, get a 100 minute ticket for €1.50. Just up the road from the Borguese art gallery. We caught a bus from...

Nice rooms, tastefully decorated, professional staff, fantastic food -much superior to american food which is tasteless, mass-produced, cancerous full of homones, herbicides and pesticides.Never saw waiters moving so quickly.Hotel is located close to bus stops, close to subway station (Barberini) ,excellent location. There is excellent cheese store(120 years of tradition) ,pizzeria, frutteria and pasticceria close to the hotel. I strongly recommend...

No shortage of tables for breakfast but all with stools not chairs. Room clean, tidy but lots of noise from the road. Bed firm and clean. No coffee or tea facilities in room. My husband, son, and I stayed at the veneto palace hotel from 1/17/2017 to 1/22/2017. Front dest was helpful at times but not very friendly to Us. Loved the reed diffuser fragrance throughout the hotel. When we got there we had a problem with the toilet bowl and the room lock. No soap dish in the shower so that was...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
