Well What a great find. Our 5th time to Rome in the last 9 years. The Casa Sophia is the best hotel out of the 5 we have now stayed in And the cheapest too. Couldn't get any closer to the Fountain in the square which is our favourite place on an evening. Lots of bars and fantastic restaurants right...

Just returned from the best weekend with my partner. The hotel was perfect, clean and in a fantastic location. The ladies who ran the hotel were very polite and helpful! We felt very safe and comfortable staying here. The hotel overlooks a small square which can become very lively during the evening which was great for us as we could...

This hotel is run by nuns and is very inexpensive. It really helps to understand basic Italian, because they don't all speak other languages. They will try to be helpful. Rooms are tiny but functional. The location is excellent--near major sights and Metro. The breakfast coffee is the worst you are likely to have in Italy and there is no...

This place is located centrally for easy walking access to major attractions like the Coloseum. it is located on a piazza with access to many restaurants nearby and the neighborhood was very safe. The place was clean, quiet and well maintained. Rooms are spartan - no TV or radio - but the bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful. Did not...

Brilliant location, just a stone's throw from the Colosseum. The room was impeccably clean and breakfast was included in the price. My main gripe was the noise from the corridor; it can a bit irritating if you're a light sleeper. Perhaps they could consider investing in thicker doors.

I have stayed at this property 2x now and it is my favorite go to hotel in Rome. Centrally located in the heart of the city. The Colosso is basically right up the street along with countless places to stop and take in the city. Piazza della Madonna is a very busy place you will find people here at all...

Quaint little basic, budget hotel that is in the most perfect location in Rome. If you are fine with a no-frills spot, this fits the bill. The location would not be better - walking distance to the Cavour and Colosseo Metro, although you don't really need them. The Forum and the Colosseum are both within wlaking distance - you can...

This very basic accommodation run by an order of nuns is ideally located and excellent value. The Piazza della Madonna dei Monti is relatively easy to find from Cavour Metro Station (one stop from Roma Termini), but don't expect a giant neon sign above the entrance to the hotel - it's quite an inconspicuous doorway. You have access to buses...

A simple but clean and nice place to stay in a good location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants and bars nearby. The closest Metro station is Carvour. Only a short walk to Colosseum and Forum Romanum.

We stayed at Casa Santa Sofia about a year ago. The location is really great! We were greeted by the Colosseum every morning and the restaurants nearby had awesome authentic pizza. We walked from Termini station to Santa Sofia and we were so centrally located we almost walked to all the main attractions. The rooms are clean and very basic,...
