Like most places we stay, it is the tireless efforts of the people behind the counter that make the difference between good and great. And so it was here. While the annex room wasn't the best we have stayed in, it was 1500 years old so you need to make allowances for age. The breakfast was excellent and the location...

We stayed here in May so it was starting to approach peak periods but €200 a night for this place is a joke. We actually stayed in a separate building, we couldn't believe it when we were given a fist full of keys and directions to a flat around the corner! Sure the cellar may make the Americans swoon due...

What sold me on this hotel was the breakfast area in the ancient theater.....so cool!! I researched forever trying to find just the right hotel, and so glad I decided on this one. We didn't want a western type hotel, but one with a local feel in a good location and this one fit the bill. The location was excellent...

Great hotel, very clean, good selection at breakfast and the coffee was great. Location was perfect, most attractions within walking distance, maximum was 30 minutes walk to St. Peter's or you can take the tour bus which stops 5 minutes away. Campo di fiori is minutes away with a good selection of restaurants and bars and also a market which...

Central, good value, friendly staff and good breakfast. The noise from the surrondings must be expected and function as an alarmbell in the morning. Just positive so you dont miss breakfast. Wifi, clean, walking distance to all the cities stones...and there is a lot of stone in rome, really old stone.

There is something quite comforting to return to a familiar area of Rome with its excellent amenities and to be remembered at the reception desk of this charming hotel. As usual, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was ample and tasty. I very much appreciated the help with directions and transport links when I mentioned my plan...

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was good, always had fresh made coffee Americano and Cappuccino with a nice selection of breakfast items. Seems like you can always get quite a good deal here; and for its location, it's less expensive than other hotels. The reception staff are fabulous, especially the woman who is on in the morning. Smart, knowledgeable; and happy to look after luggage if you arrive early or if you have to check out but your plane leaves later. A...

We visited Rome in January for a (slightly) long weekend. We chose this hotel as it was very close to the venue for a party we were attending, reasonably priced and it looked like the sort of place we like (fairly basic but with period features). It ticked all those boxes. Our room was on the top floor with a...

My family went to Italy last summer. We decided to stop in Rome for 5 days and found this hotel. The hotel is nice place to stay with children. It is a 2 stars hotel with comfortable conditions, proper service, and affordable prices. Our room was around $55 per night. The hotel is for budget tourists. The hotel is situated...
