Quirky boutiqie hotel with a 60s style fitout as the name suggests. It is in an old building with no elevator. It seemed like a few apartments in the building were converted into this hotel, and therefore seems a bit like a BnB rather than a hotel. However, it was clean and had the amenities and services of a hotel....

We chose this hotel because its proximity to the subway and the Colosseum. We got a small room inside an apartment... it was a bit weird... it looks like a couple of apartments that where made in to individual hotel rooms... The entrance to the hotel was also weird since the "hotel" starts at the second level. The room was...

Retrome is a lovely place with nice rooms. Our room was really clean and neat which is what any guest would like, and so was our little bathroom. Our flight was also delayed so they had arranged someone to stay at the hotel in order to give us our keys and show us to our room. That was really considerate...

I was pleasantly surprised on arrival that my room had been upgraded from an economy single to a spacious queen free of charge. The room was clean, well decorated and the bed/pillows extremely comfortable - It felt like staying at a friend's trendy apartment. Location is great - very close to the Colosseum. I would definitely stay here again when...

Booked this place based on reviews and closeness to the ancient sites. This place is not strictly a hotel, but it's an apartment building that has been resdesigned to work as a hotel. Two adults traveling. Here are the pros: 1. Place is just a 4 minute walk to the Colossuem which is awesome ! It's also within walking distance...

This hotel is only a 5 min walk from the Colosseum, but in a lovely quiet area, it was a 30 min walk from the main station and easy to find. On arrival the guy on reception spoke excellent English and was very helpful, showed us to our room and where the kitchenette was and how the locks worked for...

Cool and trendy place with mismatched hipster decor, but my room (#4) was small (even for a solo business traveller) and the bathroom was tiny -- hit myself going in between the toilet roll holder and the cistern to get to the shower stall. I imagine it wouldn't be super comfortable for a larger person. Another issue is the limited...

the staff was really helpfull and very friendly. We had no warm water at first, but they fixed it the same day. It was quite small, but we didn't bother. The location is great. We had a great time staying here.

The room was clean and well supplied. The best part was it was on a quiet street in an area within walking distance to many major attractions. Rome is one of the most polluted cities in Europe so plan carefully. This area is less polluted but I think it is wise to be off the streets by 2PM. We were...
