Eats and sheets vaticano is.a beautiful villa in a quiet village. The villa is spotlessly clean and our room had air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, ensuite shower room, mosquito nets on the windows and a supply of shower gel & shampoo. Our hosts were very welcoming.Breakfast is provided via a token which can be used in a choice of 2 local cafes. Breakfast... More

Nice quiet B & B with a lovely garden. Good room and good breakfast served semi-outside. Access to the centre of Rome was OK once we got the hang of it - about 20 minutes by bus to Piazza Venezia. Access to the road where the B & B was located, was difficult, and tricky to find on the first... More

We LOVE this place! it feels like you stay in the Villa but yet, everything is close by. Good restaurants, convenience stores, bus and underground train stations within walking distance. We have a car but we just left it parked at the villa and drive it only when we need to go out to another city. Ambra and Giordano are... More

We stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise to Greece. Giordano and his family were more than accommodating and answered every question we had giving us a comfortable feeling before arriving. We were greeted by him to a very clean an inviting room that was perfect for our stay. Beds were comfy and bathroom was large. Everything is very... More

It's a perfect experience of staying in such a beautiful, crowded city. Small 2 floor villa, hidden from prying eyes on a calm street. Only in 5 minutes by walk to a metro station and in couple of minutes to a bus stop. Lovely house with a so much beautiful own garden, with blossoming old trees, fountains and separated chilling... Last month while in Rome we stayed at the fabulous Bed and Breakfast (Villa Emilia Eats & Sheets Vaticano) operated by Giordano Di Marca and his sister Ambra. This was my first experience of staying at a Bed and Breakfast and I was very impressed. Giordano and Ambra were extremely warm and friendly and made us feel like family –... More

We had such an interesting contrast with another location (not a patch on this one) in Venice. The rooms are beautifully decorated and maintained. The view from the road is rather intimidating but once you get inside the oasis mentioned in many of the reviews is revealed. The accommodation starts with an outside stair to a terrace overlooking the lovely... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Villa Emilia is situated in the center of Rome just a few steps from the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's square. It is conveniently located right in the center of all metro and bus lines, and close to both Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. The recently renovated structure of the 1940s villa was maintained as it originally was with the spacious garden surrounding the property that boasts two fountains and a variety of ancient roman plants such as magnolia, olive, and wild orange trees. Upon entering, a path in the middle of nature opens before your eyes that will transport you into a dimension of relaxation and well-being mixed with the sensation of living the history and city of Rome. The terrace, the heart of the property, is where guests are served breakfast daily, and where you can enjoy a coffee or tea break basking in the Roman sun. Tables are placed all around the grounds for you to use as well as a gazebo where you can read, take a nap, or have a snack in an atmosphere where you can feel at home. Our goal at Villa Emilia is for complete and utter relaxation and to be able to enjoy the Villa and Rome's natural beauty. All of the rooms at Villa Emilia provide every comfort including private full bathroom, temperature control, flat screen satellite TV, hairdryer, safe, and free WiFi internet. Available in the common area is an internet point, comfy sofas, a small library with books on ancient Rome, and an antique radio. The Villa was furnished with much care and attention and no detail overlooked with the decor of every room mixing antique and modern pieces. Our bed and breakfast is also kid-friendly with children's beds available upon request. Services include laundry facilities, airport shuttle upon request, and private massage services available on-site. ... more   less
