Stayed here for five nights in September. I had stayed here previously, this together with the price and the location made the choice straight forward. I stayed in the Annex along the road from the main hotel building. The room was very clean, decent size with a reasonable bathroom. It had efficient air conditioning and for €95 per night for...

It is a good location from the vatican but when we arrived the receptionist is not entertaining well even to tell us to sit down because we are exhausted from the journey and bringing our lugguage to the hotel room that there is no lift in going to reception but you step with a more flight of stairs to arrived...

I stayed here for two nights. I found the Indian guy doing the checkin to be extremely rude. I found the other people working there to be rather pleasant. I actually was not staying in a hotel. Instead I was staying in a kind of apartment in a different building. This of course means it is a big hassle to...

So. This hotel. I don't even know where to start, because I'm still conflicted on whether it was decent or not. The pros: They have a couple of staff members (two that worked the night shift, one was a lovely blond girl during the day) who were incredibly nice and helpful. They called taxis for us, carted our bags up...

We stayed at this hotel for a week. It was in a very good location to get to all the major sites. The rooms were small but as we were not indoors much they were adequate. The hotel is exceedingly clean. We had clean bedding twice during the week and a stack of clean towels every day. The breakfasts were...

Courteous staff, good breakfast, fantastic coffee, small but adequate rooms. Roman streets do not have great signage, so the hotel can be hard to find for the average American who is accustomed to large and lighted street and business signs. Poorly lit but very safe area, and would stay there again. Its close to everything, but it doesnt reek of...

We were looking for a central location to walk for both Rome and Vatican and this hotel met perfectly. I found this hotel in tripadvisor and chose it because of good reviews. Of course if you are looking for a wide room and careful service, your won't find it here, and you will need to pay a lot for that....

Spent six days there recently. Took two rooms. Small but convenient and relatively good value for money. The best thing about this hotel is its location. Very central within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the City centre,

We stayed here our first night in Rome. We did our research before the trip and didn't have too hard of a time finding the location. Look for a giant door (red, I believe?). The reception area is on the 2nd floor, climb the steps to the left when you enter and its right there. The intercom didn't work worth...

we stayed in a triple room which was quite small without a mirror in the room which was inconvenient when trying to get ready to go out. the value for money was good compared to other hotels in the area. I would recommend for the location alone as it was walking distance to vatican, metro, piazza del popolo, we went...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
