Having never visited Rome, three travelling young girls were unsure what to expect! However, upon arrival, we were amazed by the beauty of the city. Soon, after an incredibly over priced taxi journey (I am assuming the driver knew we were tourists and took advantage of this), we arrived at Hotel Sant Angelo. First impressions were that the entrance was...

The Sant´Angelo is a very nice hotel, no luxury, but confortable and well located. Our room was a good size not big, but enough for all our needs, a confortable queen size bed, small but usable closet, a small table, two chairs and a mini bar and we had room enough to walk around. The bathroom was a bit small,...

Close to the city center and on walking distance to pretty much everything, this hotel combines great service with perfect rooms and a splendid location. The reception was most helpful with charts and directions, the breakfast was very good and the people tend to remember your preferences so they serve you even better the next day. The room is good,...

This is a small, clean and well located hotel, two blocks from Tevere River. You can walk to all major turistic spots. 40 minutes walk to Tratevere, where you will find all the best italian restaurants you can imagine. It is a little pricy, but remember that Roma is a very expensive city. It is VERY noisy at nights. I...

Very nice entrance. You can take the staircase or the elevator as the reception is at the first floor. People in the hotel are very nice. Room was quite small, which is normal as it's Rome. Breakfast was nice. There was often a cue for having breakfast as there were not enough tables. We were there with New years Eve...

Not knowing what to expect on our first trip to Rome I was a little apprehensive with this choice. After the vacation was over I can only recommend this hotel. The staff were most helpful, the rooms were clean with very comfortable beds, the breakfast, that was included, better than expected. The best part was the central location to the...

My wife and I had a great stay at Hotel Sant Angelo last week. We were actually booked at their annex hotel but they gave us room in their main building. For us, it was lovely! The room was clean, the bed is large and comfy, I love the channel on the tv which shows 70s to 80s music non-stop...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
