We spent a week at this hotel and had a very nice deluxe room. The view was not great being at the rear of the hotel, but this was not a problem for us. There is a very well maintained sun terrace. You can order food and drink or take your own up there. There is even a gymnasium! Meals...

Just got back from a 4 night stay in Rome, booked a small package deal through an airline, up graded the hotel to the Dei Melling because of a roof terrace, the hotel was fine, and clean, always a good start. The rooms were comfortable and beds were a good size. The breakfast was good with a choice of hot...

Stayed for 3 nights on our second trip to Rome. We chose this hotel based on location and reviews. Apart from the Colosseum all the other 'major' attractions are within a 20 minute walk. The hotel is very clean, rooms were spotless and although we had no view (inward facing) this didn't spoil our stay. We were on 6th floor...

We booked a high-floor suite and were very disappointed to receive a dark inward facing room. I'd asked for flowers on arrival for my girlfriend and unfortunately this wasn't arranged.....the room service food is average at best and the breakfast, is again nothing special. Wifi is not free, although due to the problems we had...it was provided free. The worse...

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience that occurred about the flowers, it is extremely unfortunate. We completely understand your frustration in this matter. As can be read from the other reviews our housekeeping team is always very attentive to details, if you found stains around the bathroom doors I'm sure they took immediate attention, and worked to clean...

I wanted to tell everyone about the Rome Dei Mellini Hotel. It has a great location in Rome. Close to everything. The rooms are clean and spacious. Each room, was different. My family and I stayed here 2 years ago and loved it. My children's room had a balcony. Most rooms here do not have a balcony. I love their...

Spent two nights on Rome (you really need 3 nights to see everything). Booked via Expedia and arranged a taxi to take us to the hotel and then back to airport. The hotel is on the Vatican side of Rome and as others have said is not in a busy/noisy area. It is though only 10 to 20 mins walk...

There was nothing about this hotel that actually wowed me. No free wifi in the room for 3 night it would have been 15 euros. Rooms are average. I found a dried pee stain on the floor by the toilet that was obviously missed. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. The plus side it was a good location....

Dear Guest, your comment surprises us! Reading the other comments can be seen as the cleaning is one our strength. It is obvious that it can happen that something might escape the eye always very attentive of our Housekeeper manager (if so we apologize), but if promptly reported by the customer, we immediately take care. We do have WIFI FREE...

I have only had chance to write this review since returning from Rome on the 18th July. You seriously can not fault this hotel in any which way. My dad contacted the hotel prior to our arrival to request a room with a balcony. We were in room 601 - with a small balcony and right next to the terrace....

We stayed at tho wonderful hotel last year when we visited Rome. I have always wanted to visit Rome, and decided it was now or never, due to limited mobility. The best hotel ever with lovely comfortable bedrooms, and top notch staff making the bed and turning down the covers, leaving a chocolate or night cream for us. The best...

We stayed in a suite which was well appointed but fairly small! The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and we received a free bottle of wine on arrival. The breakfast was extensive and very tasty, the dining room very pleasant. There is also a roof terrace and a bar downstairs. The location is outstanding - 15 minutes walk...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
