This hotel is lovely. We stayed in the refurbished part and my teenage daughters stayed in the older side. Both rooms were very nice and cleaned every day. The quirky lift system to get to the other side is fun and different. The breakfast was very nice and plenty to eat. The staff are very nice so I wouldn't worry about not having a reply. Enjoy your stay whichever side of the hotel you are in!
