The staff (Lloyd) has been really helpful. Great value for money, they even gave us a room with balcony. Location is fantastic, close to everything. Breakfast was served in the room and again, Lloyd has been so flexible with our breakfast schedule even if we woke up late, he served us our breakfast. I would highly recommend this to couples... The guest houses are 2, both in excellent locations and close to each other but when you book, you don't know which you will be staying at so make sure you email them to tell you exactly where to go. The neighborhood is safe, classy, surrounded by all high end shops and restaurants so I definitely recommend this area in... More

Excellent location and service for a reasonable price. Rooms are small but very clean. It's cool and modern. You can use the refrigerator and though there's no concierge, service personal is willing to help at any time. It was definitely a pleasant stay!

We've just spent two nights doing intense Rome sight-seeing, with three rooms at Casa Howard as our base. Pre-booked car from the airport €60 was excellent, efficient and only slightly more ££ than a taxi. We had two rooms in via do Capo Le Case (Blue, White) and one in Via Sistina (Flower). The latter is about five minutes walk... More

The location of Casa Howard in Via Capo del Casa is great. It is near Spanish steps and all the main location in the centre of Rome. The White room is beauitifully furnished (old furniture, nice colours, good architect!!), comfortable bed, very clean, bathroom also. The kind and gentle couple who run the pension were always around and very helpful.... More

We are young student couple from Slovenia who like to travel a lot. Casa Howard was a great decision for our budget and for our eyes. We stayed two nights in room called blue room with blue bathroom. Our room was not that small as the other reviews said, it was big enough to spend the night and refresh yourself... More

We stayed at Casa Howard, Via Sistina, last fall for a week, and liked it enough that I booked at CH and got Capo le Case location for this February visit. My room was charmingly decorated (and I had a chance to peek into others, equally charming) and well appointed for the price. Yes, it's inconvenient having to go down... More

We stayed at the Casa Howard on Via Sistina, and were more than disappointed. It was a roof over our head and a bathroom, but little else. The room was so tiny that the bed and tv stand occupied the enter floor, leaving no room for our suitcases. The so-called breakfast was worse than "cntinental," consisting of two cups of... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
