Comfortable hotel with spacious rooms that need renovation and are quite loud. Slow internet connection. Good breakfast but the choice is rather limited. A very friendly and helpful staff. Good hotel location.

A centrally located hotel in via nazionale, Rome. Very close to all kinds of sightseeing and attractions making the experience even better. All good shopping destinations are at an inch from the hotel. Our 3 night stay was very fruitful because of the location. The breakfast is a USP for the hotel. Very Italian and gives the tourists a very...

The convenient location of this hotel is its biggest draw and I, like many people, have fallen into this trap. There are other hotels in the local vicinity - go for these!! I wish I had paid more mind to other reviewers who warned about the scam this hotel carries out with the deposit. They charge you a random deposit...

We were visiting Rome for the first time for a friends 50th birthday. There were 6 of us. We found this hotel to be great. It was very central and an ideal base. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms were large with high ceilings. The beds were very comfortable. The maid was in everyday. Breakfast was included and...

The Albergo Quirinale is an old but well maintained hotel, the bar, the dining rooms, the salons, are all very nice. The personnel is very kind and attentive, and the location is excellent. The bedroom was small and not very comfortable; the facade needs a cleanup. All in all it was a very good experience and I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is central and next to Roma Termini. This is easily accessible from Flaminco Airport via Leonardo Line. Hotel is a good size, well maintained with great food! Also has a nice garden and two Irish Bars close by! I'll be back! You've been warned!! 😂😂😂

I stayed here for 4 nights in a jr. suite. Wonderful old world charm. HUGE room. Chrystal chandeliers, oriental carpets. I looked in some other rooms and they seemed rather small. If you can afford a jr suite, go for it! Wonderful pian bar in the old ball room and a full breakfast in the inner courtyard. It is like...

We stay at the Quirinale every 2 years for the Irish rugby weekend. This year we stayed for longer than usual and enjoyed ourselves very much. The hotel was as usual great and we had a lovely room. One thing: I would love it if you could get some English/Irish tea for breakfast.

Booked via booking.com for four nights. Really easy 5 minute walk to get to Termini from Ciampino Airport (I much prefer this to Fiumicino). Really easy to get to the metro and walk around Rome. Check in was really quick. No complaints about the room, except maybe slightly smaller than it looked. It was very cool and quiet considering the...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
