We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with the accommodations. The room was spotless and the newly renovated bathroom was beautiful. When we arrived our rooms were not ready and they served us coffee while we waited. They were very efficient and professional at check in. Some people have complained about the noise on the street but...

This is a boutique type hotel. It is very clean with newly renovated bathrooms. The breakfast is very good. It is a perfect place to stay to get picked up for your tours. There are restaurants in the area that you can walk to. It is a short cab ride to many of the attractions. The front desk was extremely...

I booked this hotel at the start of the year and had constantly checked reviews, some of which are mixed. Upon arrival we were really pleased. Our bags were taken straight to the room and we were checked in swiftly and efficiently. It was great because the man behind reception gave us a map, explained the best way of getting...

After visiting this hotel I was surprised of its rating on booking.com which I counted on to choose it! Old Hotel with poor location we walked 2 kms to find a mini market to buy water. The hotel don't have access for baby stroller neither for handicapped people, old bathroom with decomposed walls and ceilings and they took extra charge...

We visited Rome with our 2 teenage sons for a 3 day stay in the city. The overall service from the hotel was good, although I wouldn't call it friendly at the front desk; more polite and efficient. We booked deluxe and superior rooms which were nicely decorated & spacious, the bathrooms were excellent with large showers in both rooms...

Excellent hotel with very helpful service. Location is very central within a few minutes of the metro station although you can walk to some sights e.g, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps etc. We were given a complimemtary upgrade to a junior suite which was fabulous. The breakfast was superpower with good fruit selection etc. I would recommend this hotel and will...

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, great breakfast and the hotel is in a good central location where it's not too busy so you can get a good night's sleep. On the doorstep to lots of bars and restaurants in any direction, and Barberini tube station around the corner.

La Residenza is in a great location; easy walking distance to Trevi, Spanish Steps, shopping district, and much more. Surrounded by pretty streets and many cafes/restaurants, the hotel also has a lovely ambience. We had very good service from the staff including restaurant recommendations, directions, and transport arrangements. The rooms are large (not common from my experience in Rome) and...

Nice and cozy hotel in the heart of Rome. 10 min walking to the Spanish steps, 10 min to Trevi fountain. The staff was very Friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was huge and the dining room is so beautiful. I will definitely return to this hotel!

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
