We were very impressed with our stay at the hotel. It was spotless, with spacious rooms (especially the bathroom), a pleasant building decorated to a high standard with some nice paintings on the walls. Staff were very accommodating and particularly at breakfast where we were offered cappuccino and other drinks not available at the buffet. Nice large windows did little to block outside noise at 7.20 every day when rubbish is being collected, but otherwise a quiet spot just off the main thoroughfare. We got a special offer through Expedia and thought the hotel was excellent value, exceeding expectations!

I’m so very happy I found this place to spend my days here while first trip in Rome. Best location with an attached restaurant that served me and my spouse the best dinner one could asked for after a long trip from the USA. There breakfast was top notch , a variety of all sorts to choose your fancy . Spacious and clean rooms . And did I mention that location was spot on? About 15 mins or so to the Spanish steps. Along the way, are restaurants and shops . The staff ? Excellent customer service ! They took care of us and treated us like family . I love the Italian people ! Can’t wait to come back❤️

Recently returned from a very enjoyable 4 night stay. The hotel has a nice art deco feel about it and is ideally located in a quiet street off the “beaten track” but at the same time within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and just 5 mins from the nearest metro station. Although Breakfast is mainly continental style, a concession to the English means scrambled egg and bacon are also available in a hot plate. Front desk were particularly helpful in arranging an airport car transfer for our return journey when we couldn’t face dragging a large suitcase back to the Metro and then onward via the Leonardo Express! For those interested, a taxi would cost approx 20 Euros more than the cost of 2 Airport Express and Metro tickets.
I agree that for the English, it is a negative to not be able to have the odd hot drink in the room at night - I was aware in advance but forgot to pack the travel kettle and tea bags - but this is no major issue and is to be expected in a European City Breaks. Plenty of local restaurants within easy walking distance and as we were celebrating a big birthday Reception kindly recommended Restaurante Vladimiro about a 2 minute walk away. A little more expensive but well worth it for a special occasion.
All in all an enjoyable trip and very comfortable hotel stay.

Excellent hôtel in all ways from the réception, bar, restaurant, breakfast and room confort.
Its location is also very practical being only minutes on foot away from tourist bus stops and the métro.
The only criticism I can mention is that, for a 4°°°° hotel, there is only one non-italien TV channel...CNN.
However, à highly recommendable hotel in Rome's City centre.

Located in a small back street, the outside area of this hotel does not fill you with confidence at arrival.
However, once through the gate the charm ,decoration and ambience is lovely and chilled.

The reception team are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to assist in any request including:
Transfers to and from the airport (recommended as luxury car with smart driver and cheaper than taxi)
Reservations for local restaurant.

The Superior room we booked was large with a giant, long king size bed.
The bathroom was modern, with twin sinks and the biggest walk in shower that I’ve experienced.Water pressure and heat was constant throughout our stay.
Our room had one window which was protected by an electronic blind.
Room was cleaned daily, including bedding and towels.
The only faults were a lack of kettle and tea making facilities and a small wardrobe with 7 hangers.

We opted for bed and breakfast and the breakfast room is a small dining area with 8-9 tables open from 07:30 to 10:00
Foods included:
Breads,cereals,scrambled eggs,bacon,fruits and juices,yoghurts and cold meats.
Coffee was provided by a lovely waitress ,the cappuccino was a great way to start the morning.

Evening dining is provided by the small restaurant next door which I will give my own review on but mostly positive.

In general a clean, boutique hotel situated in a lovely part of the city.
Location is great for public transport and in easy walking distance to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.

We booked a stay here for the holidays. We arrived and found the hotel to be old and right next door to a restaurant and dumpsters. We were given a room literally at the elevator doors (we passed it twice, it's such an unusual spot). The key is an actual key that you have to leave at the front desk each time you leave the hotel. This is suspicious because now they know when you are in your room or not. Our room overlooked the dumpsters and we couldn't open the rickety shutters to get air. We called to cancel the room within hours of being there and were told we would only be charged one night if we left the next morning, so we did. When it was time to refund the money, the manager charged us 2 nights. We went to talk to him in person and during a heated conversation where he lost his temper, he accused us of thinking Americans are always right! Excuse me!? How rude and hateful! Then he said he was keeping the money for the extra night to buy himself some medicine! Beware... The hotel is subpar and the customer service is even worse. They are taking advantage of travelers because they are not selling rooms. INSTEAD, go to The Regency hotel. Modern, clean, and excellent service all around!!!

We were amazed at the hospitality of everyone here! The breakfast spread was delicious and had variety. Our room was freshened daily and the desk always had a staff member on hand. We loved the restaurant and the quieter street this sits in. Easy to walk to your destinations but nice to be in a quieter area when you’re ready to relax after sight seeing.

We booked La Residenzia as part of our honeymoon stay in Rome. We booked a junior suite, the most expensive room and by the images, it looked well decorated, had big open windows and was spacy. We were also told we could have breakfast on the room every day if we wanted.

On arrival we entered the 'suite' which basically consisted of a long corridor then at the end was the room on the right and the bathroom on the left. The bedroom had no balcony ( they advertise some with balcony and since we mentioned it was our honeymoon beforehand we'd hoped they'd put us in the balcony suite). The room was bare, none of the decor or features from the photos at all, smaller windows and terrible view. More like moving into a rental really. We'd had a horrible day so felt really let down. So we went downstairs (I was in tears) and there were no rooms to swap to. The concierge was lovely and really understanding. She offered to cancel the room for free there and then if we found another place. Which we did. We left 30 minutes later.

Do not trust the images provided. Especially for the suites. We experienced nowhere near that in our room.

This was our first visit to Rome and struggled to find a triple room with 3 beds as most had a double and a sofa bed which isn’t ideal for what we needed. The hotel was very accommodating and confirmed the third bed was a full size single bed. Hotel was about 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps and 5 minute walk to the Villa Borghese. Hotel was perfectly located far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for walking to main attractions. The Hard Rock Cafe is very close by too. We ate breakfast in the restaurant which was fine, only issue was power cut prevented us from showering and impacted breakfast (no coffee) ate breakfast in the dark. Also no elevator so had to climb 3 sets of stairs which wasn’t an issue as long as you manage. Reception staff lovely and cleaner had the room immaculate. We didn’t eat any other meals in the restaurant but the food looked good and appeared popular. The hotel security was good, good air con / heating control, good electric blinds on windows! Bathroom was huge with double sink and walk in shower!!! The room was a great size plenty space and storage, sufficient charging sockets. TV choice was poor but we were rarely in the room, so much to see and do, we would return to this hotel again!!! Great metro links nearby! Hotel receptionist recommended local restaurant for food as we were keen to head out - try Vladimiros short 5 minute walk

The room was a family room, it was spacious with room for 4 people to sleep very comfortably and had a nice little balcony and a good shower. The breakfast was plentiful with meat, cheese, bacon, eggs, pastry, fruit, yogurt and cappuccino etc. our air conditioning cut out twice but it was very hot out so that may be the reason. The location was also good but my main issue was the price. We stayed at similar hotels in the previous days in Venice and Florence and this was significantly more money but not better or nicer at all. It is a very nice hotel but just really overpriced. Perhaps Rome is just significantly more expensive but my expectations were higher knowing the price. The front desk staff was very good. Another odd thing is the hotel still uses old keys and they ask you to leave the key other front desk whenever you Ethel hotel. All in all this is a nice place to stay but too expensive.

Yes you will need an adapter. Not sure about the driver. We took the train from the airport and then a taxi from the train station.
