Chose this hotel particularly for its location and price as I knew I wouldn't be using it much, as I would be out sightseeing. The Hotel is very clean and very well run, the majority of the staff were lovely and very helpful. Its location...More
Hello guys. We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel is very good. Clean rooms and bathrooms, rich breakfast and a very good location near Termini Station. It's about 30, 40 minutes of walking from the colloseum and fontana di trevi, and if you...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

I dom't think they offer a complimentary taxi service. We took a shuttle taxi (duration 35 minutes outside the rush hour) from the airport to the main railway station (Termini). There is also a train connection to the Termini; Leonardo Express that operates every 30 minutes. The Scott House hotel is very close to the Termini, only a couple of blocks away.
