Despite its proximity to the Vatican and the Pontiff's fair standards, the man himself won't be staying here. That being said, if you are in pursuit of accommodation exceedingly close to the Vatican and within an acceptable walking distance of a variety of Roman attractions that is not overly expensive and do *not* expect the luxuries of a higher rated...

I'm not sure where're people want or expect luxury but these hotels need to provide a bit more - whilst they'd obviously decorated the furniture was cheap flat pack, curtains nice, bedding and towels monogrammed, new shower - but get that plumber back its not fitted properly and you will have a major leak and water is going it to...

Dear Mr Edgar, , Thank you for deciding to devote your time to share in a very polite way, your recent experience in our hotel and we are very happy that you have appreciated, in most respects, our work and our business, especially our enviable position in front of St. Peter's Square. We will treasure your advice to try to...

Its true, the service is pretty bad unfortunately. I don't think that the other persons review was racist as insuated, but was More a description of the 2 concierge that were also AWFUL to us as well. And it's so funny, I wasn't going to review this place as I typically dont have enough time for this kind of thing...

It is very Not Smart to try to do a new and same review , by pretending to be a different customer. Mr Datsun3 this is your first review on Tripadvisor and you only wrote it to confirm the bad words of the previous review of another customer ?? All people can read it , included us, were not born...

My husband and 8 year old had a 1 night stay at this hotel. Price is ok, location is great but there are so many other Air bnb's and other accommodation in the same location and nicer! Last minute we booked a 1 night stay with them. All 3 of the concierge were terrible. An Asian man who was completely...

Dear Customer, we thank you for taking the time to review his brief experience in our hotel (as she wrote, a few hours) and while respecting your opinions, fortunately we have the opportunity to answer that we are not okay and that do not give a good contribution to the existence of this very important tool that is the Tripadvisor...

We were staying across the street and during a walk one day decided to check it out, even seeing a room. This is definitely somewhere we will stay next time! For the affordable price the residence is nice and perfectly placed! Everything in Rome, minus the coliseum, is on walking distance!

We recently stayed in the Emmaus hotel, this was our 7th visit and as always the Emmaus Hotel was an excellent choice. The location of the hotel is excellent, only 100 steps to St Peter's square, and has restaurants, bars and shops near by. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and are a good size. Each room also has...

Old style reception, friendly and helpful receptionist her English is excellent. Superb location for St Peters Square, you could not be nearer. Train and taxis all nearby. A gem of a find. Rooms are double doors lock and key which made a nice change, big windows with traditional shutters, no sanitised anti falling out of the window system here! Nicely...

I am writing this review for my mom and aunt, they are NOT computer savvy. They stayed at this hotel and loved it's location. Walking distance to the Vatican. Evening strolls through St. Peters Sq --- they loved it. Small grocery store around the corner and a fantastic typical Italian restaurant VERY near by. Concierge very friendly, rooms were not...
