My wife and daughter and I stayed here in early June. The hotel has scaffolding on the front so it doesn't look like the picture, but we never saw or heard anyone working. This is Italy after all. They were probably off restoring some priceless landmark. We got 2 rooms- a superior double and double for single use. Neither had...

I have been to the Artemide twice. The breakfast has a wide variety of offerings. It's close to Trevi fountain and many other sites. Train station also very close by. Front desk very helpful. Very good hotel!

Just back from a wonderful 3 night stay in Rome. Whilst the hotel had some scaffold at the front, the inside was lovely and it was a pleasure to stay there. The bedroom was really nice and the free mini bar stocked daily with beer, water and soft drinks was perfect. The staff on the desk spoke excellent English and...

We stayed at the Artemide Hotel for 5 nights. I am so happy we booked here and listened to all the great reviews on trip advisor. The location is excellent, close to everything. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, booking restaurants and giving us advice on what to see, where to eat and what to do. And, the breakfasts...

We booked the Artemide Hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, we weren't disappointed! First impressions - we made the short walk from Termini, the hotel is on a busy street in a central location, great for walking to the main sights, and close to the metro if you're feeling lazy. Check-in was quick and the staff were very helpful...

This is an awesome hotel! It is centrally located on Via Nazionale, a few minutes away from many attractions. The service is always with a smile and very professional. When we reached our hotel room, we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and a nice note thanking us for choosing their hotel. That was a nice touch! We...

Very attentive and polite staff, fluent in English, which provided maps and information at any time, always accompanied by a smile. A lavish breakfast buffet, which nonetheless could have been a little more dynamic. Upon check out, and since the hotel has been quite recently remodeled, the receptionist asked nicely if we had any comments which needed the hotel's attention....

From the moment of check-in, the beautiful accommodation and wonderful breakfast this Hotel offers is certainly 5 Star. We enjoyed 3 nights in a fully renovated superior room with all facilities a traveller could desire. The roof top bar was a delight to have an evening drink whilst looking over the Rome skyline. The staff at this Hotel know how...

A wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel. The staff were courteous and charming throughout. We walked everywhere! 15mins to Spanish Steps / Trevi and it actually only took 50 mins to walk all the way to The Vatican. Our room was on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel and was on the whole very quiet. However,...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our 2+ week vacation. We had been warned that there was construction taking place, however, it wasn't visible on the inside and only appeared to be the facade being worked on. Once inside, and away from the busy street, it is beautiful and quiet. The hotel is...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
