The staff here is superbly friendly and helpful. Everywhere you turn there is a friendly face asking how they can help. The price point is also excellent value for the offering. The spa is small but they limit the number of people and price it accordingly

Beautiful hotel, everything was spotless and smelled amazing when you entered the cool lobby. Our room on the third floor overlooked the courtyard so was very peaceful and quite considering we was in the middle of such a busy city. Fridge stocked with complimentary juice, beer and water plus tasty snacks that were replenished every day. We ate on the roof Terrance the first night of our stay, delicious food, amazing cocktails and lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was incredible, everything was so delicious without exception, enormous range to choose from and the most attentive staff I have ever come across. Special shout out to who ever made our morning cappuccinos, without doubt the best we have ever tasted anywhere. Will definitely be back to this wonderful hotel.

This hotel is sleek and stylish. The view from the rooftop bar is stunning. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and the bathroom lighting is excellent. There’s a great selection of food to choose from at the breakfast buffet. However, it’s the staff that stand out for us. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. Two especially were outstanding. We met Ivan on arrival after a stressful night, getting antigen tests and then taking an early morning flight. He looked after us so well, we felt like we were family. Then at breakfast the following morning, Pasquale also took us under his wing, bringing us samples of food he wanted us to try and making sure we had enough of everything. Simply the best.

Best hotel all around. The front staff is remarkable, attention to detail and will meet your every need in booking tours, eating suggestions. The spa was amazing and relaxing after a long day of walking. Service each day with rooms was good.

Hotel staff are extremely helpful even before arrival, they organised a quiet room and private transfer from the airport. (€65). Our room was most definitely quiet, though had no view. It was a good size, bathroom had great amenities. Breakfast was good although the same hot food everyday. Rooftop terrace is definitely worth a visit we had drinks and dinner up there. Hotel is very well situated to walk everywhere, even walked to Vatican City! Overall a great stay.

Response from Federico Pacini, Direttore generale at Hotel Artemide

Dear candiceguy21. Thank you very much for choosing us and for sharing your experience. I thank you on behalf of our staff, who are always happy to receive positive praise for their efforts. I'll make sure they get the recognition they deserve. As for breakfast, we regret not having fully met your expectations. The wide choice of hot and cold dishes is, in fact, one of our strengths most appreciated by our guests. We are always happy to satisfy other requests if our guests prefer something different from the full buffet proposal. We would be happy to give you a warm welcome again and be able to offer you an even better experience in the future. Arrivederci, Federico Pacini Hotel Manager

An excellent hotel! The staff were very helpful, even before arrival. I corresponded with Elisa about room requests and transportation from the airport for my group of six for three rooms, and she helped arrange everything. She even helped point out that since we were staying at their sister hotel in Florence (Hotel Spadai) for the second half of our trip, that we could get a discount, which saved us a decent chunk of money! The rooms were great and impeccably clean. Every time we had a question, the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and our only complaint was that we wished it was available before 7am because we had some early mornings. The location is great, and only a couple blocks from Piazza Repubblica and the metro stop there, and Termini is only a couple blocks past that. The rooftop bar is nice, and we had tasty drinks there our first night and enjoyed the view. We also ate at Ambrosia one night, and it was delicious with good variety and service. Random: Both Artemide and Spadai had a diffuser in their lobby, Acqua Dell'Elba Mare, and we all loved it. We made sure to buy some during our visit so we could bring the smell of vacation home with us! My mom also used the spa one night, just for the jacuzzi to help with some soreness, and she said it was wonderful and the staff made her feel so special. I highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

This hotel and its staff was the single most best experience traveling we have encountered. The check in was pleasant and welcoming and very helpful as Air Canada really tried to screw this trip up by delaying over 12 hours and losing our luggage , but they took charge and handled it. At the complimentary breakfast which was exquisite, Salvatore and his crew made sure we had everything we wanted. I asked about the Mela Apple juice and he brought us a whole unopened bottle of it. For my birthday he brought a beautiful delicious kiwi pie. The Ambrosia crew welcomed us every night for night caps and views of the city on top of the hotel. The room was spacious and very modern with a huge stand up rain shower , a comfortable queen bed and opening windows . But the encore was a private massage with 3 hours private use of the spa , and yea we were not disappointed. We could walk to numerous historical sites very easily. We look forward to bringing the entire fam next year . Grazi to all of you , miss y’all already

Just back from 3 nights in this hotel. Brilliant base to tour Rome. Most sights are within 20 min walk. The staff are all polite, friendly & helpful. The hotel is spotless. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but there is a lounge with free tea & coffee which was great after a long flight. We got a free upgrade to a suite which was great. There is a free mini bar for the whole stay. We ate a lovely breakfast every morning- fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, cooked breakfast. The staff were all lovely & accommodating. The rooftop bar is beautiful on a clear day, with great views of the nearby St Paul Episcopal church. We were given 2 free welcome Prosecco drinks on our first day & a 50% discount voucher for the spa. We ate in the Ambrosia restaurant on our last night & had a great Ravioli meal. There is noise from the Via Nazionale street outside but nothing worse than in any other major city. We booked a hotel pick up & drop off for the airport & it was excellent; punctual, courteous drivers & no stress drop off at the terminal. Highly recommend this hotel as a base for any trip to Rome

Absolutely wonderful stay at hotel Artemide. We’ve just returned from a fabulous 5 night stay, made extra special by our stay at this wonderful hotel. Rome was a bucket list adventure for my mum so choosing the perfect hotel was important and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel is well situated in the heart of the city and close to both a metro and mainline stop. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, and although overlooking a Main Street you could barely make out the traffic. The beds were so comfy made extra so by the offer of mattress toppers and different pillows, mine as perfect my mum being that little bit older did need a topper for a softer sleep. The staff really made the stay, they are polite attentive, funny, informative and nothing is ever too much trouble. They’ll even help you arrange trips and navigate yourself around the city. Finally I do need to mention that the food - the hotels reputation certainly lived up to my expectations, breakfasts were vast with lots on offer to cater to a multitude of tastes and every morning that staff come around with little titbits to tickle the rare buds. We love, love loved this hotel and I’m making plans to return with my partner next year.

We stayed at Hotel Artemide for a week in December 2021 (this review is overdue!). We loved everything about our stay. Our room was beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean. All of the staff were kind and professional. The location was within walking distance to Rome's attractions, and very convenient to Termini station, where you can take the Leonardo Express train to and from the airport, and also catch trains to all parts of Italy. Our favorite part of our stay at the Hotel Artemide was the FABULOUS morning breakfast!! A special mention for Salvatore, one of the waiters at breakfast. He was so friendly and cheerful, and he took the time to write suggestions for our visit to Sicily.
