Just home from 3 nights here. As I had booked a package deal I was expecting one of the hotels least attractive rooms and that is what I received. The room was very clean and the complimentary mini bar was very welcome, but there was no natural light in the room due to it being at the back of the...

Excellent hotel. We (4) stayed in the family suite. The fridge was complimentary and stocked with juice, soda, water and small bottles of liquor- scotch was one of them. A nespresso coffee maker and pods were available. The room was divided into 2 spaces and each room had its TV. Balcony opened to street below with great views. On first...

The hotel has a lot of nice amenities included with the rate, including the in-room beverages and the breakfast. As a vegan, there was really nothing I could eat at the breakfast (except fruit) but most people will love it because there is an enormous selection. The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The room was very...

This is a well located hotel with tiny room and bathroom. But a huge service. Everyone was attentive and well manner. It has a good location close to metro station, walkable to Fotanana de Trevi as well the Coliseum.

I read all the great reviews and booked through Trip Advisor. The service was fantastic as well as a perfect location to walk to almost everywhere in Rome. The rooms are very nice and they have a wonderful breakfast with an excellent selection including staff coming over to your table with amazing offerings like fresh ricotta and fresh bruschetta and...

Perfect centrally located hotel, amazing staff - so efficient, professional and helpful. Excellent service throughout our stay. Our hotel room was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed being on the quieter courtyard side - a peaceful sleep indeed. The hotel exceeded our expectations from start to finish and I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone. If we returned to...

I did a lot of research before selecting this hotel. The customer service, friendliness of the staff, facilities, and food are all well deserving of all of the positive reviews it consistently gets. It was an easy walk from the train station to the hotel . Our room was a Junior Suite with a balcony- which was great for our...

With so many hotels in Rome, it was hard to narrow it down to just one, however we ultimately chose Hotel Artemide & were very glad we did. The location was excellent for our 4-night stay & was easily accessible from Roma Termini. Our Deluxe room was large, tastefully decorated, & well-equipped. There were 3 USB outlets which were extremely...

The staff welcomed us and promptly showed us to our beautifully appointed room. A small space but divided into two rooms so my daughter had her own private space with a very comfortable pull out bed. The room, however, was extremely comfortable and the beds were just right with beautiful, soft linens. Everything was clean and the bathroom was updated...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
