This hotel was stellar. It hit on all points: service, location, restaurant, art gallery but best of all BREAKFAST! Holy moly, I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced a hotel breakfast like that. The drinks and snacks in the room were super nice as well. The street noise is a bit much but I suspect that’s true anywhere in the city. The sirens never seem to stop in Rome. So glad we stayed here, it was a great experience.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff could not do enough for us. Whilst checking in I mentioned we had booked into the restaurant on our final night to celebrate our anniversary. On our final night we were delivered a bottle of fizz with snack and a card personalised congratulating us. This was an unexpected and amazing touch considering I had mentioned it three days before. We were given a room on the third floor which overlooked Via Nazionale. We weren’t bothered by the noise which died down overnight. The location is central and we walked miles and miles but bus stops outside were handy when we ventured further afield. The room had everything, a free stocked mini bar and biscuits every day with lovely touches such as slippers and nice smelling toiletries... so much so I made a hop to the shop where they sold the reed diffusers to bring one back as I loved the smell everywhere. Shower was powerful and if you found the bed too hard they provide mattress toppers. Breakfast was a feast and meant we didn’t need lunch. A good selection of cold meats and cheese along with pastries and cakes... croissant and cream for breakfast which was really nice! They also provided bruschetta and cake to the table and there was a hot selection of eggs and bacon with mushrooms and sausages. Too many juices to mention with fruit, cereal and yoghurts for a lighter alternative. We have stayed at other hotels including the Hilton Cavalieri in Rome but this one wins hands down for location and attentive staff. We will be back and will be going here without hesitation. Thank you to all staff for an amazing stay.

Wow. We just stayed here 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The hotel has a very elegant and romantic atmosphere, but the best part is the staff. From the smiling concierge staff to the charming breakfast staff, to the maids, and the mixologost and other bar staff, we were made to feel so welcome and taken care of by everyone. We also especially loved the breakfast service where our coffee orders were taken immediately each morning, there was an amazing variety of food and fresh juices, and special treats like homemade cakes and bruschetta were brought directly to our table. Just fabulous. We were surprised to learn that our room (403) had a balcony and nice view of the street that was totally soundproofed, a free mini bar (!) with snacks replaced every day, an extremely comfortable bed, and a gorgeous large bathroom with waterfall showerhead and a bidet. We felt so spoiled in this luxurious hotel that we were lucky enough to call our home away from home this week!

I recommend staying in February when the prices are very reasonable and the crowds are minimal.

Our stay at Hotel Artemide was one of the best experiences we have had at a hotel. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and had the best guest service of any hotel we have stayed at.

We stayed in the junior suite which is perfect for a family. We stayed with our daughter and she had he own space. The room was separated by sliding doors so you could have privacy . Our room had a mini bar that was free to us with drinks and snacks. They refilled the drinks and snacks daily. The bathroom was big. The shower was great it had a rain head shower that had wonderful pressure. The room was clean and well decorated.

We received breakfast every morning with our room. The breakfast was a buffet style. There was so much to choose from and everything tasted great. They offer coffee, cappuccinos, and a number of juices. They had a fresh baked dessert every morning that they walked around and offered you. It was so nice to walk down every morning to a great breakfast and not have to worry about where to eat.

They had a nice restaurant/bar on the roof top with a terrace and a great view.

Our overall experience was wonderfully unforgettable and would highly recommend staying at Hotel Artemide

From the moment you walk though the door you are made very welcome. Every single member of staff throughout the hotel was absolutely first class.

Good location, easy walking distance from railway station (for Airport Leonardo Express) and easy to walk to the sights of Rome. Good and varied choice of restaurants very close by. Safe area.

Lovely rooftop bar. Great cocktails. A fantastic "cheese and ham" lunch" on the terrace.

The complimentary in room mini bar has everything you need and it is so convenient as it makes for a complete and perfect stay.

They were incredibly helpful (unlike British Airways) when our flight was cancelled and they offered a fair price for us to stay an extra night in the same room with complimentary breakfast.

Excellent breakfast with lots of food surprises from the amazing staff.

This is the hotel for staying in Rome, no doubt about it.

Like many others, we booked this hotel on the basis of the existing reviews, and we could not have been happier that we did!! From start to finish, it was a wonderful stay. Breakfast was a particular highlight! It set us up for the day, we never needed lunch, and we were always made to feel so welcome by the whole team. A particular thank you to Pasquale and Salvador, who introduced us to many Italian specialties at the Breakfast table! The room was spotless, with a free minibar restocked daily, and everyone in the hotel was always keen to help. The rooftop restaurant and bar are a great experience, make time for them during your stay. Recommend a visit to the spa too!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it’s an easy transfer from the Campino Airport bus drop off. I asked for a quiet room and it was very quiet. We were on the 1st floor in a comfort room and it was immaculate. Lovely comfy bed and you have the option of asking for a softer bed and they put a soft topper on it - I asked for this. There is a choice of 2 pillows, the latex one was so comfy - I even tried to see which one it was so I could get one in the UK. The bathroom was lovely with a shower over a bath, which was a power shower and was really warm every morning. The free mini bar is topped up every day which is unique as I’ve never encounter this before. The breakfast selection was vast and pascale comes round with a cake trolley and the cakes were delicious. Really lovely. We ate in the Ambrosia Restaurant 3 evenings and the food was lovely, with lots of
choice and the service is 5 star.

I would definitely recommend this hotel we didn’t use public transport at all, the roads are busy, we walked everywhere and the Vatican which is the furthest away was within walking distance.

Amazing service as usual ... love the receptionist and the supervisor as well as manager who in charge of breakfast .. the breakfast and day of cake wouldn’t be as good without them. They upgraded my room yl honeymoon suite because this is our wedding anniversary and I will stay the same place next year
My husband and I live Italy and hotel Artemide just the right place to go that make you feel so comfortable, so clean tidy and they are very very friendly
I booked their sister’s hotel located at Florence..: the breakfast service is not as warm as Artemide but the cleanliness and comfort is just the top of the world. I will strongly recommend hotel spadai with great location, great service and great Cleanliness which is my biggest concern
Highly recommend these 2 hotels to fussy travelers like myself

Have just returned having left the hotel the day after the whole of Italy was locked down from Coronavirus.

Positives:
Fantastic restaurant and very reasonably priced. Same for the drinks. Outstanding bedroom and room facilities. Phenomenal location. Great Irish pub next door, great local shopping and great location for the attractions. Outstanding maid service twice a day. Rooftop bar and restaurant phenomenal.

Negatives:
Spa - 15 euro per 2 hour use, me and my partner like to use the spa 3 or 4 times a day. Would have cost a crazy amount to do this for what is really a very small spa (it is very nice but definitely not worth paying 15 euro per time you go in there). Hotel staff were somewhat unhelpful during the Coronavirus lockdown, they are very smiley and good to point to attractions but when we needed advice about possibly having to prolong our stay laughed at the idea of any discount (weird since they will likely have little to no guests for the next X? months). During the day of complete country lockdown the only messages we received from the hotel was a call to the room to remind us the hotel restaurant would be open from 6-1030.

Still highly rate the hotel!

Location fantastic, facilities great, bar and restaurant great! Access to a pool whenever you want it would make this 5* in our eyes!!!

Dear BDtravellingGuru, We are really pleased to receive your review and appreciation of most of our services, mainly because we have managed to offer them despite the enormous limitations imposed by our Government to deal with the emergency. Considering the movement restrictions applied in the city, our staff even had difficulty reaching the hotel, so the fact that the guests only sensed our challenge minimally makes us really proud of our work. Our Spa provides access for up to 8 people at a time, who can enjoy a refined and boutique environment, with a relaxation area, herbal teas corner, a large whirlpool tub, sauna, Turkish bath and emotional showers. At the price of 30 euros per person, we also provide a kit with bathrobe, towel and flip flops. The concept is not that of an always accessible spa, and we are sorry that you would have preferred a different service. We hope to welcome you again in the future, confident of living the conditions to offer you a perfect experience in every respect. Arrivederci, Federico Pacini Hotel Manager
