Stayed for 4 nights, in 2 twin rooms, at the Doubletree Monti Rome. We loved the modern, updated hotel and its great location. We travelled to Rome by train and appreciated the 10 minute, gentle down hill walk from Termini Station. Upon check in we were greeted with warm smiles from the lovely staff. We were given in house dining/drink information and offered incredible advice for Rome restaurants. The rooms are quiet, stylish and well lit - and offer plenty of electrical plugs/USB ports. We appreciated having the small fridge to keep waters, drinks chilled. The bathroom was lovely with a great rain shower (good water pressure), fluffy towels (& wash cloths) and nice vanity amenities. Our visit coincided with a record breaking heat wave and temps feeling like the 110's/43+, so we had a challenge getting the rooms comfortable. We were in touch with the front desk staff and maintenance to help with the a/c and they were happy to assist - so don't hesitate to ask them. The hotel was happy to call "legitimate" taxi's for us when needed and always provided a "number" so we knew we were hopping in the right one. Even with the heat we did explore Rome by foot a good bit. The hotels location is 17 minutes from the Colosseum complex and about 20 or so minutes from the Trevi or Spanish Steps.

We really enjoyed the in house dining/bar options at the Doubletree. Starting at 530pm, the MUN rooftop bar, has a friendly, welcoming staff and creative bartenders/drink options. They also spoil you with delicious, rotating, apertivo bites. We tried breakfast and dessert at Mamalia - great variety buffet in mornings. Our favorite spot was the MiT food & coffee brewery that is open from 8am-late afternoon. They offer wonderful fresh juices, delicious coffee/espresso drinks and the terrific options for lunch. Due to the heat we planned our tours for early mornings and so appreciated having this high quality, convenient option within our hotel. They offer delicious salads, fresh sandwiches and even a burger/fries and the staff was friendly, professional and efficient.

Nearby dining recommended by the hotel staff - Osteria Il Riposto for delicious, reasonably priced pastas, salads, bruschetta. Also had wonderful meals at Tonarellla and La Tavernetta 29 in Trastevere and Mariuccia not far from the Pantheon.

Grazie to the staff of the Doubletree Monti Rome. We look forward to returning to Rome, staying with you again! and recommending your property to family, friends and colleagues.

I stayed here 10 nights. The service at the front desk is good….some of the best hotel service that I have experienced in Italy. The staff are friendly and fluent in English. The room was very small, and when my husband arrived, despite being a diamond member, they were unable to upgrade us. This was a little disappointing, given the fact that I had stayed around 10 days. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The property is exceptionally clean, and the rooftop is wonderful. If you go up there at sunset and order a drink, they will feed you some lovely hors d’ourves, which is a nice touch. The property is in a fantastic location; only a few minutes’ from the Termini and within walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountains, Spanish Steps, etc. The gym is small but it has very high quality treadmills and weights and is kept exceptionally clean. I did have to book in for the gym, which was a bit of a hassle since it was hard to find the right time slot. I do however feel that this property is a little overpriced compared with other Hiltons in Rome. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel is situated in a very safe and quiet area (my daughters and I would come back to the hotel by foot pass midnight and felt completely safe, I would venture out on my own to get some gelato pass 10pm and never felt insecure) , yet it was close to all the main attractions- the Colessum/Forum was a 7 minute walk, Via Urbana- 30 second walk, Termini,- 6 minute walk. close to several metros, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The hotel is very nice, our room was on the small side but very clean.. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Whenever I asked for directions, they would leave their post and actually walk with me outside to point me in the right direction. They all were fantastic. One thing I was very impressed about this hotel was the security. In order for you to use the elevator to go to the Upper Floors, you had to tap your room card against a device in the elevator. No key card, the elevator didn't move. I have never seen that before but it gave we an extra feeling of security since we were three women travelling in a major city. Will be returning

A wonderful base for exploring room, the hotel is impressive from the moment you walk through the doors - with a beautiful seating area. A welcoming and helpful greeting from staff giving us some recommendations on where to eat after a evening arrival and check in, staff were also helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

The room we stayed in was incredibly comfortable, with a large bed perfect for collapsing in after days and evenings exploring, and the room was nice and spacious so we didn't feel for the 5 nights we stayed that we were all caged up.

We had an accessible bathroom and not sure if this is the case across the hotel, but the shower was incredibly frustrating, the doors connect to each other via magnets and if you do not get them perfectly aligned, they will cause the bathroom to become flooded. However, once you've mastered the alignment, it also escapes from the seal underneath, so most of the times either of us left the shower we discovered that there was a huge pools of water going through the room.

The one thing we didn't enjoy was the breakfast, we're "English" and the continental selection didn't really suit us and found it a little expensive for what it was. The hot options had long past gone hot and didn't fancy cold fried eggs or thin bacon that was very greasy from sitting to cool. However there were plenty of places close by and we enjoyed breakfast on the go to our adventures across the city.

Really recommend getting the hotel to call taxis for you to avoid being ripped off and they arrive very quickly to the door.

We want to revisit Rome again, and will look at this hotel for future trips.

Wonderful customer service/front desk service from Carla and Irene. They met all our needs with cheerfulness and great insight!

Cheerful and prompt service from the breakfast staff. Francesca, Christian, and Alexandria were so sweet every morning. They work very hard. The breakfast included hot and cold varieties. Great breakfast!

Great location to the train station for day trips. Short walks to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish steps. The front desk called taxis that typically arrived in 3 minutes.

The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are clean and modern. The AC was superb. The front desk will lower the temp if the room setting is not cold enough. Housekeeping did a prompt and great job daily ( you have the option to not have housekeeping)

I’m a Hilton Diamond member so I feel qualified to rate this hotel as EXCELLENT. We stayed 8 days and loved everything about this hotel and it ‘s staff.

Thank you!

Loved this hotel!
The location is a little bit of a walk from the main attractions, but very easy to get to and restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies are nearby.
The rooms are on the smaller side for a Hilton property (though as expected for Europe). Rooms were very well equipped with plenty of storage space and lots of plugs in the necessary places.
The staff was so nice and accommodating. We utilized breakfast service and the rooftop bar/restaurant. We would have loved to visit the coffee shop/brewery next door but it was closed most of the time we were there (Rome was still not fully open during our visit).
Breakfast in the hotel is the way to go! We went out for breakfast once but the hotel breakfast offerings are so much better. Cappuccino, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, pastries, fruit… the list goes on!
Overall a great place to stay and would definitely choose it again!

This Doubletree Hotel was a phenomenal venue which offered guests a peaceful, comfy, exceedingly clean, well-appointed hotel accommodation — and then doubled down by adding a sumptuous hot breakfast. It is easily located within walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and many other sights. As part of a packaged excursion, we found this hotel choice to be exceptional in every regard.

My 27 year old daughter really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Doubletree. This ended our already perfect 9 day trip to Italy on a very good note. The hotel is very well located, an easy walk from Termini station once we got off the train from Florence (use Google maps to make this super easy!). It's also very easy to walk to a lot of locations in Rome from there, but keep in mind that there are a lot of hills and stairs in Rome! For a big hotel chain, it's very stylishly designed, which was a lovely surprise (the mirrors are held up by leather belts!). We had a spacious twin superior room, which had two twin beds that are larger than US twin beds. The bathroom had a large shower. The bedroom and bathroom both had windows that opened up for fresh air, which was nice, especially after we showered. We looked over a courtyard, which we both liked. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices to appeal to a wide variety of cultures; the sliced fruit was particularly fresh every morning. There is a rooftop bar which has a pretty view and a nice vibe for a drink at night. The staff was quite helpful with restaurant recommendations and also made a car reservation for our trip to the airport. They made this all so easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in every way! The location was truly walking distance (most was 32 minute walk, I believe) to every single thing that was on my itinerary! The room was well-appointed with a bidet, towel warmer, espresso machine, excellent lighting configurations, and comfy towels and bedding. I was nervous to travel alone, but the area was very safe, very well populated but quiet, and the building was wonderfully secure. There is a greeter at the door 24/7, the elevator requires key card access, and the staff was friendly, happy to help, and went above and beyond to help with taxis, plans, and restaurants. I am not sure I would even try anywhere else based on my experience!

This is my second visit in a week - staying with my family of 4. We have really enjoyed our stay here.

Service has been very good and attentive. I love the design/decor of the hotel. After a long hot day in the city, it has been great walking into the cool tranquil lobby. Unlike several other Hilton hotels I have stayed in, this hotel has its own charm and style.

The breakfast has been enjoyable and the rooms have been wonderful - very well thought out maximising space. The rooms allocated to my family is fantastic - almost like the interconnecting rooms are a small 2 bedroom apartment.

The location is very close to all the major attractions and very convenient to the main train station.

All in all, a very pleasant stay and look forward to coming back!
