We were not particularly overwhelmed by this hotel. One of those moments in which you arrive at the hotel room tired - and you just think 'it'll do! Our room was detached from the main hotel entrance and reception and accessible through a doorway around the corner. It rather felt like the serviced apartment experience than a 4* hotel experience. But it did the job. It was reasonably priced (even though tourism was significantly reduced due to Covid-19). I intuitively feel though that we could have got better value for money elsewhere. But it did the job I suppose. The room was clean albeit fairly small with no view of note other than the narrow lane from which we entered the complex. There was no balcony. There were good tea and coffee making facilities and the bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was just fine. Difficult to comment on staff as the detached nature of our room did not bring much contact with them. But what minimal contact there was was cordial and friendly. It just didn't feel like a hotel I'm afraid to say (and I've stayed in many). The location was excellent; very close to the Spanish steps and with many local bars and restaurants (although a fairly pricey area to eat and drink). So all in all, this did the job. But I think I would look elsewhere in the future. It is badged as a 'boutique hotel' which usually suggests a hotel that is quirky and unique. I saw nothing 'boutique' about this place and as previously stated, it rather felt like a serviced apartment (but without the space and cooking facilities). There was no couch and just one armchair meaning only one of us could sit down whilst the other had to use the bed. But it did the job I suppose! …
I stayed there for 3 nights i Booked because was looking nice and was in central position, when arrive was a bad story the room was Sting when i get inside really bad smell from drains too noisy from drains Water from other room during the night i couldnt sleep easy next morning i went to breakfast room i was suprise when i saw that their breakfast was so simple you could easy found in one star hotels and was to the basement really small room.i pay for room 150euro per night, i ask to change me room and they want to charce me extra 40 euro! When i told them about all this the Just ignore me! In this hotel they look you like money and your stay is not that you pay for, i Will never returned!
The hotel is near Spagna subway and Spanish place, surrounded by kinds of restaurants and stores , so it's noisy . The reception and breakfast are in different building and that's uncomfortable. It's easy to walk to lots of landmarks and churches, snacks and gelato are at your hands. Anyway it's a convenient and nice hotel!
This stay was going to be our one splurge during our trip to Italy with our 15yo daughter. We reserved the one bedroom apartment that has a living room, kitchen and washing machine. When we checked in we were told congratulations, we’d been given an upgrade. In actuality, we were put in 2 tiny adjoining rooms in an off-site bldg. the feet of the beds were practically touching it was so small. Hotel said that the apartment was being worked on and it was not available, but they’d throw in breakfast for free. we didn’t want breakfast, we wanted the room that we’d paid for! I had prepaid, they weren’t going to give me my money back, so all I can do is post here hoping that they will suffer some sort of consequence for being such a dishonest business.
Stayed at Hotel Condotti for six nights in January 2020. What a terrific hotel in a great location! It is a 3 minute walk from the Spagna metro station. Had a Superior Double Room in the main building. The room was excellent, and the staff was always very polite and helpful. My only complaint is that the street outside the front of the Main building was noisy at all hours, but the hotel cannot control that. The breakfast each morning was great. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone.
